Not sure what's the situation around Europe, but I woke up this morning to like meter of snow outside! I can't find my car anywhere!

not in Paris :( The fun thing is here, when they predict 5cm of snow, it's a "red alert" (and we didn't even get 1mm of snow in the end)

I would be in favour of less gun control when everyone handles their guns responsibly, like in the movie "God Bless America" where guns are used to serve mankind. But unfortunately we have to accept the facts for what they are: more than 10.000 lives could be saved a year by no gun policy. In every country we call civilized the amount of killings by handguns is around 40 to 50 a year. Right to bear arms is nothing more than a right to get killed eventually. It is about time for America to grow up and stop acting like 19th century cowboys.

So I was at Soulwaxmas yesterday, and Erol Alkan was playing back to back with Xavier from Justice. He used the synth sounnd from the chems Vitalic bootleg and the track from Hanna as his intro, and later he played what could be a new Block Rocking Beats remix, and the "pleasure" track right after ! It was rad. The track has a really long build up where there's no snare in the beat then it all blows up after 2 or 3 minutes. I'll put a video up.
2Many DJs played XTC in their set, with the vocal from the chems remix at the start, but then it was the original

Shameless request:

I am looking for high quality rips (320 kbps+) of Song to the Siren 12", Fourteenth Century Sky E.P., and My Mercury Mouth E.P.

I love this out of print era but my copies lack in sound quality compared to the rest of my (purchased) discography.

Please email me privately if you can spread some holiday joy and help me out.

Thanks!
Gonna work it out...

40 degrees celcius atm in melbourne. Wont be sleeping tonight. decided to watch pleasure videos to feel like im hot and delirious as would be at a summer music festival. (in other words..."dont fight it, feel it" one legendary song would say....
Come out from the cold and into the setting sun. It's where it all began for me (not in Afrika), like it was out of control. Then after that life was sweet. So dream on into the pioneer skies of the fourteenth century and rise from the sunshine underground.

So I bought this 12" from Discogs a little while ago. It was described as VG+ and indeed I wouldn't argue with that. The condition of the vinyl is as good as I hoped for . But despite this, the sound quality ain't great. It sounds kinda lacking in full bodied sound. I don't have any reason to believe it's a bootleg, but compared to other 12"s in my collection from that time period (and older) it could do with some more 'umph'.
Would anyone else agree/disagree with that? Is this FLAC that you have Whitenoise going to be any better quality that the vinyl (beefed up with software perhaps?)?
