Patience, chemicalreaction. The people in Britain are obviously lucky (and sunshine boy is lucky he is capable of travelling so much to see the Brothers) but we can be jealous of their geographical convenience in silence. ;) Best you can do is wait for dates and see how this all plays out.
If the Brothers don't come near you in support of Push the Button, then you can complain!

Ah I haven?t had a weekend as good as this one in along time, but it?s been and gone all too quick for my liking. My neck is killing me from nodding to beat all weekend, and my brain has started to unscramble it?s self from Saturday nights shenanigans. But anyway let?s talk about Friday night!!!
I was well looking forward to going to Manchester cos I have never been up there before. I was equally as keen to go to Sankey Soaps cos I know they have a lot of quality djs and quality nights week in and week out, and because its one of the best clubs in the country!! I was not looking forward to the journey though. I left home at 4.30 to get up to Manchester some 6 hours later, peek time rush hour on a Friday night can be murder!! I also went up with a college from work cos none of my lot was that interested in this mission, fools!!
I was well chuffed when I got into Manchester, I missed the turning onto the ring road and ended up driving into the city centre. But that was cool cos I got to pass the hacienda apartments, the site on which Manchester greatest ever club was. It knida got the excitement going, being somewhere different. After dumping my car of at the car park we walked to the club. The houses near the club we very stereotypical, long terraces with no front gardens, as we got near the club I could see a tower with red letters on it saying ?SANKEY SOAPS?. I had no idea what to expect from the venue but from what I can guest it was formerly some kind of cotton mill, with streets near by like Cotton Street and Loom Street it make sense to me.
When we got into the club I was pleasantly surprised looking at the surroundings. The first thing I noticed was the low ceiling, always an important part of making a club intimate! I loved the non polished look of the club, the bare brick work for example. It?s not a large club, I think it holds up to 750 people. In a way it reminds me of Turnmills main room, but with a better layout!! We also hooked up with sunshine boy and sunshine brother. Gotta say respect to you guys for making your journey to Manchester, but you knew it be worth it!!
The club filled up very quickly, and by midnight the time the chems went on stage the club was heaving. It was then that it hit me how cool sankey?s is. The sound system was in full effect, very warm bass sounds coming from the bass bins. Even looking at the setup in the dj booth, it told me a lot about the quality of the club. The fact they had a Rane rotary mixer permanently installed just says they are used to hosting top American djs. The whole vibe of the crowd was amazing too. Its well documented in music magazines the divide between the northern and southern club, and they do seem to ?ave it? more up north!!! There were literally people hanging from the ceiling, falling of the raised platforms constantly and hiding in the bass bins. You mancs are a crazy lot, proper party people!!!
Galvanise, now I was looking forward to hearing this tune!!! They played quite early in their set, and it was quite obvious which tune it was. I think the word ?galvanise? was used a few time in the tune. from my memory I remember lyrics like, ?you can?t hold me back? looping as well as well as ?i got to hit the button? looping over and over as well as the occasional ?push the button? in a very music:responsesque electro vocoder style!! What else can say about it?? I remember some like ?come with us? strings in the chorus to. To say it is a ?full blooded pulsing dance floor anthem? is no lie!!! Straight after that we had the ?yellow song?. Still loving that, I think that it could also be branded a full blooded pulsing dancefloor anthem too!!! That tune has a real energy, I love the break down too with the slap bass. And it certainly went down well with the punters.
Not much more I can add to what sunshine boy wrote. It was a class night in a great setting. I hope it wont be too long before I go back to sankey again. I haven?t stopped raving about it to my friends this weekend. And also I cant wait to get my hands on ?push the button? its gonna be a cracker!!!
