it's taken me a while to get back online. physically and mentally..

ace night. great little send off for turnmils and brilliant to be back there with some of the same faces I discovered the joy of a basements/strobes and a thumping kick drum

great stuff from tom and ed as per usual - had a flashback this morning of hot chip cut up with something like the erotic drum band?....can you remember mips?....

plus of course all the classics mentioned already: the seratonin project still sounds amazing when those stabs drop and I'll never tire of pierres mix of club patrol. quintessential

tom and ed record that - big rising noises and that rolling feel.

lovely watching the heads go up and the smiles round the room for that!!!

after tom and ed it all went a bit wonky for me. remember bits of the back room action, some garbled conversations, some of the journey home and of course the ensuing chaos back at home.

I don't think I've laughed that much in ages. amazing stuff...

seems weird to think we won't be heading back there again. so many great memories there; from early tom and ed at heavenly. a heavenly night on a boxing day mips?....dancing with the bar staff to sunshine of your love, richard fearless smashing it and ending with energy flash. hearing a rollerskating jam named saturdays on every visit. richard sen and weatherall playing some of the darkest electro known to man....I could bang on for hours but I'm at work so I'll just say;

thank you. tom, ed and turnmills crew past and present.

see you next time

chebbers x

It was incredible, wasn't it? Last time I posted on here, it was a somewhat sulky account of the Electric Proms set. Couldn't have been a more different experience this time around. I've seen the chems four times live and Saturday's set was the second best of all of them.

A massive thanks to Grahame for sorting out the staff concessions guest list.

The excitement in the main room was huge. It was absolutely rammed in there - not really a nice clubbing experience - and to be honest, I wasn't really gelling for the first 30 mins. But by midnight I'd worked my way across to the right-hand wall and stood with my back to the wall, dancing my nut off for the next two hours. I don't think I've ever been played with to anywhere near that extent before.

Does anyone fancy trying to put together a comprehensive set list for what was played? There have been quite a few track id's already but it would be nice to have something more complete.

Anil you're incredible, so generous of you to record your set and make it available, will help to preserve that night in my mind.. do you know if any other sets were recorded over the course of the weekend and where they might be available? Many many thanks, for the remix as well.

Gareth I am well up for putting that setlist together, think we could manage a fair amount between us. I can only remember the famous tunes sorry, but I'll probably add more as time goes by.. this is not in any particular order.

moby - go

underworld - rez

underworld - cowgirl

new order - true faith remix

hey boy hey girl remix

hot chip/justice/tv on the radio mashup (played at fabric last year, unfortunately not pulled off as well this time round)

black ghosts - face (switch remix) (thanks iggy, i think there were some other switch remixes in there)

xpress 2 - lazy remix

star guitar

saturate

do it again

jaydee - plastic dreams

green velvet - la la land

roman flugel - geht's noch remix

dan le sac vs scroobius pip - thou shalt always kill

Ah Anil many many apologies.. seems I was pretty damn out of it and actually thought you were playing in T1 at the end of the night, how embarrassing! This set is amazing though, loving the Frankie Knuckles stuff! Sorry..

Are the track ID's in random order?

I was so happy to hear Rufus Wainright: Tiergarten (Supermayer Remix).

Listening to the mix Mr. Chawla. Ol' skool! Man, I would have loved this more than a wank if I wasn't so eager to sleep in a nice warm bed.

haha you never appreciate your bed as much as you do when you get back from an event like that. Even now I'm loving my quilt like we've been seperated for years

They are in random order sorry, and kind of spread out over the night. All from T1 though. So when I was bangin on about Plastic Dreams into Black Legend I assume that was actually Mr Detroit. Who played Supermayer Iggy? Rufus Wainright remix sounds interesting.. any chance of a tracklist Anil?

what a weekend!

i have to stay that last 6 hours in turnmills on sunday were simply the best time i think i've had in the club. Rampling was truly brilliant. I didn't actually leave the club till about 4.30pm on monday afternoon so its taken me some time to get back to my computer!

Saturday was fun, my set went well i think, i was really hung over from friday but managed to get thro. Got to say hello to norman which was something i'd always wanted to do. The chems were awesome and it was better when it settled down in there and some people moved to the other rooms. but generally i had space.

We filmed the whole weekend and will have that up on the turnmills site later in the week.

Give me your gmail 365 and I'll email you the track (has to be gmail, it's to big to send to other email domains). I think it was James Holroyd who played it, or maybe Sean Rowley before.
