So I bought the Chemical Reaction: Best of UK Big Beat quite some time ago, and the only 2 tracks I really liked were Aphromoods, Open Up (Chemical Brother remix), and the Shaolin Bhuda Finger tracks.



I've tried to find out more about Aphrodite, but all I've found is this drum n' bass guy who I don't think is the same thing.



:-? Anyone know anything about the Aphrodite I'm talking about?

It is the same Aphrodite as far as I know - I have Aphrodite's self titled collecting dust on my shelf. I really dug it at the time, but sort of grew tired of it in a hurry. I haven't listened in ages although it reminds me of driving over the Bay Bridge in San Francisco (we were listening to Aphrodite when driving into the city some 8 years ago.)



I can't tell you much more about Aphrodite other than it's appeared on a couple of sound tracks and an MTV Amp compilation cd.

It's the same Aphrodite - the drum&bass dude. Most famous for remix of Jungle Brother (True Blue) by Jungle Brothers.

:? Hmmm, that is pretty weird. I was quite in love with aphromoods but so far the drum n bass that I've heard is ok, but nothing I'd especially like to listen too. I guess I'll have to search out some of his older stuff.
