I didnt lose sleep but i got a freakish nightmare, that i was stuck in horrible traffic running late on the way to the fields, i remeber swerving through traffic and speeding on the emergency lane. I was rear ending cars left and right in desperation as i was hearing a live broadcast of coachella through xm radio. The chems had already started, and the radio announcer stated the next act was to start in 30 minutes...
Horrible!

Oh nooo that's so sad! I bet you were relieved when you woke up! I hate anxiety dreams like that and I get them too - they tend to permeate my subconscious especially when I'm gearing up to see the Chems!
But you know it won't be like that at all. You'll arrive with plenty of time to spare and a secure spot to view the awesomage. Happy thoughts, sweet dreams and all of that!

So I'm assuming with Rynostar's silence in this thread, that you he wont be attending (?)...

no that doen't work.....
Bos (and everyone).....I feel like I am letting my brethern down. The day Tom and Ed play Coachella.....is the day I have 2 finals. Fate is keeping me from seeing T&E play and meeting all of you. I am really, really, really, really, really, really hoping that I see T&E soon. And the thing is I almost have enough saved up to make it down. Mind you that money is now going to heading down to Florida in May for my GF grad and for a wedding in Sienna, Italy right after that (not mine).
I'll be here refresing every hour when Coachella comes. To hope for another show. just as long as they don't decided to reti.....(dont say it ryno)

@Ryno: Bummer, man!!! You'll see T&E someday soon.
@KNE: I've actually had similar dreams.
@Whirls: No loss of sleep yet, but that's ONLY because I am too damned busy to be thinking about anything else.
I am, however, a little concerned with how packed it's going to be at Coachella.
::sigh:: I need to pick up a couple of extra tickets somehow...

I am concerned about the crowd capacity at Coachella, too. Especially with Connor (even though he's taller than me now). But I'm more concerned from a safety standpoint than "oh my god I'm not front row center for Tom and Ed". The last time the Chems played a live set at Coachella, it was so chill and brotherly in the tent. I experienced no aggression at all. I'm hoping the same vibe will be present this time around!

The Chems could play out in the parking lot and I wouldn't care. OK, maybe I'd care. I understand the original poster's intent and totally appreciate his faith to The Chems live set. But as illustrated even a mere suggestion saying one band is more well suited over another completely different band, as a main stage act is just begging for a flame war. What some people arguing with the OP in that thread aren't considering is that the Chems have played the mainstage with flying colors twice. I will never forget a certain Icelandic singer got bumped from the closing spot on the mainstage so the Chems could have it in 2002.
I think the new stage set up (something that wasn't presented in that thread) from the Chems would work brilliantly in the Sahara as it would spectacular on the main stage.
The Chems on the mainstage at Coachella are larger than life. Seeing the Chems at Coachella play the mainstage in 1999 was a defining moment in my beginnings as a Chemical Brothers fan. When you see them play out to a giant field of people you know their music is meant to be played and enjoyed by the masses. The mainstage would have the biggest draw and be most comfortable for the dancing fools. But I also have a soft spot for the Sahara. There's an intimacy and closeness on stage and through the crowd - at least lat time in 2005 when they played live at Coach - that feels magical... and different than out in the great wide open. Someone in that Coachella thread mentioned the coolness of the birds on the walls of the tent, and that is something that's so strongly imprinted in my memory. That and this golden orange glow that illuminated the whole tent during The Golden Path. That affect couldn't have been achieved outside.
My concern - as it was the OP in the Coachella thread - is the amount of people that will be packed into the Sahara.
Really, the Chems will be great on whatever stage they play. There's no argument, really. So I don't really know why I'm ranting!

That sucks, I mean really!
Is there a way that your instructors can give you the finals before the concert date? Tell them you have a job interview or a family wedding (say your the 'best man') in California!

I would like to see it at the Main stage, but I think it's gonna be way too packed in the Sahara, unless the tent will be bigger.
