Some of us (that may need to be singular) find the technical interviews, like those done by the now defunct Remix Magazine, to be the most enjoyable thing to read. But I have had no luck finding a single one of them for further, has anyone stumbled across any? Would love to know what synths put together this album and all of its psychedelic goodness..

This one kinda goes there:

I went looking for mags a week or 2 ago, and noticed the Chems were absent from some of the mags I quickly thumbed through.

I'd be interested to know if there are any magazines featuring the Chems.

Cheers for that link above Biff. I'm not at all a tech head but I agree with you I always find these technical interviews much more insightful into the music making process, not just with the Chems but with all artists and bands. I think its because people from technical magazines and websites are obviously genuinely interesting in the music and how it was made rather than your standard music journalist who quite often has an agenda to reach or in quite a lot of cases just isn't interested in the band or artist they've been to told to interview and write about.

Yeah thanks for the link. Would have been great to hear from Ed as well though. And what Tom said about using actual instruments in their live gigs rather than plug ins and stuff in a laptop shows how much they really enjoy their music as well as how they care to bring true quality to their audience.

Well, I don't know if this qualifies for this thread, if not please (re)move it somewhere more appropriate
Just stumbled upon it, not sure if it was posted before...

cant believe i missed this article in SOS, fantastic read - very enlightening!

i love how they have ableton mirroring some of the tracks in logic, and the way they can patch anything into any of the effects - very sublime!
