jsut home, wrecked, listening to live at chile and wishing more than anything in the world i could experience friday night again....my 7th or 8th live gig, first one up the front, and it wont be my last! it was just so.....awe inspiring, all involvingly just....i dont know how to put it into words, its impossible, jeanie, an amazing review!
the lights, the beats, seeing tom shouting "come on, do you want some more> do you? COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!" was enough to make me jump 100 feet into the air....which i nearly did on several ocassions.....im in a serious post-trip(not drug trip) come down, i always get them after amazing gigs and trips away.....i wat to be in london with all you guys right now pissed and raving!.......pics/video later maybe

Hey everyone!
I'm new here :-//
As you can see i love the Chemical Brothers and especially The Test
I was @ Brixton on saturday and i loved it! the best gig i went ever I think!
I loved the Dj who played before and after the Secret Machines! If someone knows who he was i would love to know ;-)
Secret Machines were okay but i'm not in this kind of rock.... but they're allright !!
then the Dj came back!! seriously if someone got his name or recorded some musik that would be great!! :P
then the Chenicals came! awesome!!! my best song was Out of Control... but I was delighted by the whole gig!! I was just disappointed that they didn't play the Test :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
But well anyway... The Private Psychedelic Reel at the end was really good! I loved Star Guitar... but not really Hoops (that's the only one :-// )
I stayed till 2.40 when they started kicking us out as the music was really good (plus i had to wait for my bus back till 4.00 am... X-D )
well that was a really good experience! i didn't bring my camera i wasn't sure they would allow mw in with it.... so thanks for the pics posted here! hope to see more ;-)
Do you know if someone recorded the gig, or got some samples? where i could get them? :-// videos more than welcomed }:-)
and the name of that Dj!! }:-) awesome Dj he was really good!
i noticed he played a song with french vocals :-// :-// :P
thanks for your help and your reviews!! :P

Wow everyone, thanks so much for the reviews! All of these reviews, all these experiences... it's such a pleasure to read all these thoughts and emotions-turned-to-words. It really is! It makes me all warm and fuzzy on the inside and I'm so happy that you all had such a great time, and even better to read about some of you who claim this was the best gig/best nite/best weekend of your lives. It's truly inspiring that music can bring that out of us, inspiring to know these memories will last you your entire lives.
It would be a dream, it would be a friggen honor to one day experience a show like that with all of you. Maybe one day... one day...
Anyway, take care sneaker and take a much needed breather. I'm gonna miss your reviews, your thoughts, your pics and most of all your level headed perspective in all things Chemical and beyond!

okay here is my review it will be pretty long etc
the excitement for last week has beeb buliding up for weeks and i was so glad when it arrived. first things first wednesday in the point. now i was expecting the point to be full of scumbags and that is what we got.howver the set it self was brillant and tom and ed were superb. if it wasn't for the crowd it would of been a brillant gig. the arena was over packed and when we arrived they were giving out these cool ptb postcards and badges and i nabbed tons of thems. me chem'd up and 'erin' made our way about half way into the main floor, from hear were saw the last few tracks by the secret machine who i would be seeing mutiple times over the weekend. they played cool electro rock but i'm not there biggest fan. after the end of there set ian taylor came back on to dj for half a hour while the equiptment was set up. he played some really cool songs and i was ready for the main show. when the humming sound of tomorrow never knows began i was brimming with excitement, then the joy of hbhy started and the place exploded with people dancing. now this was a surreal moment then they played get yourself high which was bllody awesome live with lovely visuals from there they played tthe big jump which was brillant live totally more funky and just great. from there they started galvanize with the strings hitting you from nowhere. they opened the main screen and the visuals for the ptb cover came with the mighty fist exploding on screen. from this the played music response and brb then the mash up of song to siren and leave home which i love as a live track. then come inside started and this track was just made to be played in a massive arena and it rocked the roof off and the visuals were just incredible. then came under the influence and it doesn't matter which were superb especially with robots visuals constantly changing. from here they played out of control which incredible lasers and just what a live track then it moved into the glow of tempetation and star guitar.then form the end of this comes surface to air from it's ashes. which was just a incredible moment. then hoops and the drums form blue monday kicked in and then the earth shattering believe started which was totally redone for the live abd the continued build up was incredible. then the monster of ebw7 started with some what different visuals to last time. then the joy of golden path live and electrobank and then they left to come back for the encore.
hold tight dublin appeared on the screen and a very diiffernt versionb of it started with the vocals as the starting point and the visuals of london centre appearing on screen. they made it more dancey but still lush.then the intro from tppr started and this was incredible. the gig finished in fine stlye and was looking forward to the weekend.
the next day all i could think about was brixton and london. i could barely sleep. the next morning got up really early to catch our flight to london. we arrived in our hotel around lunchtime. after a while jeanie arrived from her casting calls and we met and talked for a while then we went around london a bit while she finishhed off her work for the week. then around half seven we started our journey to brixton even though jeanie didn't have a ticket yet. we meet the tout who seemed really dodgy but we got it and headed into the queue. we were all really excited to see them especially jeanie whose enthusiam was overflowing. we went in and got front row seats and we in a ideal postiion for the gig we were so close
to the set up. the secret machines played again and then did ian taylor who played the same set but i wasn't complaining abput that then the build up started and tomorrow never knows started and i was really excited and so all of us were the gig was phenomenal and the crowd was great and a million times better than dublin. the set list was the same buit the vibe was better and ed performance incredible. it was just a incredible gig and words can't do it justice.
after the chems finished ian taylor came back and played some great stuff including nude night. during the gig tom and ed gave us the thumbs up and waved to us.
the next day after a few hours sleep we headed around london with jeanie as our guide we hit tons of record shops and we got here collecting chems singles by the end of the day. after a cool day chilling around london we went back to the hotel and then to a restuarant after that we headed our sepearate ways with chem'd up and his mate going ot another gig and me andd jeane heading to brixton. which was a cool trip. when we arrived we headed to the goose were we met acid and sneaker and this old guy starts to diss jeanie about being too skinny. then we wnt into the venue cause we wanted front row again and we got them which was brillant. the next while was making jokes and just having a laugh while the secrts played again. then as the bulid up started i sensed it was going to be brillant we were really excited an then they started and every thing was awesome and the performance was just better and incredible. at this stage this insane girl was standing between me and jeanie and she was totally out of it. tom and ed were brillant with them shouting at the machines and getting crowd reaction. brillant moment when ed waved to us it was so brillant during the golden path. then the tppr started and it was just incredible then as they finished tom waved to us. it was brillant.
then after the gig sneaker gave us a lift to our hotel and a tour of london. the next day jeanie had to got back home and we spent it around london shoopping etc. it was a incredible weekend and i have probaly forgot tons of cool stuff

8) irishfan! Nice review, the chemical afterglow is having an effect on your post! What a fantastic weekend!
What the hell was up with that old guy in the goose? Imagine if Jeanie said, "hey you're a nice man but you're awfully old!" I mean, come on!
And sneaker, Mr. Hospitality, what a doll! When we were there, after we met up with people here at Makoosa and after sneaker drove us back to our hotel in London, 'stash kept saying, "Last night a dj drove me home."
