hi,
i wanted to offer a remix contest to our beloved chemical brothers. on our website www.foem.info, we run alot of remix comps with artists we like. the last contests have been with luke slater, gabriel ananda, rough trade records, emiliana torrini, dapayk, soma records, bonzai music, rmb, dusty kid, esl records, ursula 1000 and so forth. u can check the link here: http://foem.info/ind...id=51&Itemid=97
we really would love to do a remix contest for the new album. its not much work, foem will organise everything for you, including handling, moderation and so on. we also work with alot of media which feature our contests. our community now has more than 20.000 musicians from all over the planet. lots of them would love to remix chemicals brothers. unlike beatport, we do not want the fans to pay for the remix stems, so the contest is for free for everybody: the label, foem and also the fans.
our newest contest is with chris fortier from nyc: http://foem.info/ind...d=347&Itemid=97
it would be great to get an answer
all the best from cologne

Unfortunately, appealing to the official Chemical Brothers forum is not conducive to any sort of acquisition of legal rights or extra-promotional material--the best that one can hope for in doing this is a referral from some knowledgeable forum member who has contact info to the Chems' agents, etc. However, I do not think that any of the forum members have this sort of industry info.
So, my best recommendation is that you should contact EMI, ROCKMACHINE.
K bye

Defined a little more formally, "escape velocity" is the initial speed required to go from an initial point in a gravitational potential field to infinity with a residual velocity of zero, with all speeds and velocities measured with respect to the field

I don't think hes trolling, but like I said, forums aren't really the places for getting in touch with officials. I wish that could somehow be put at the to of the forum where it can't be missed.
