The most powerfull begining of an album is:

Smells like teen spririt on the Nevermind album from Nirvana.

I still like it.

Also power beginning:

Everything Zen from bush on their first album.

Can't really remeber the title of the album though (I'm tired!!!!)

On the electronic side:

Come with us is very powerfull beginning of an album. (!)

Best outro is a droning 13 minute beating on the scull....Autechre-Nuane, off of Chiastic Slide.

I just have to say, "Motion Picture Soundtrack" is not a good outro song, it's not even that good as a song. There's that short stringline at the end, now how many artists have made that kind of thing for their outro track? Millions and millions of them! Deliberate stretching of tracks I say. It's not a rule that your last song should be a forced epic. (Kid A features a very nice intro song however. ;-))

"A Wolf At The Door" is spot-on, I like the chorus so very much much.

I think the intro to Everything in its right place is amazing, does something to me everytime I listen to it. You're right about the last track soundertow, it's not a very original idea of stretching out the track, and frankly just annoys me.

well... I love it :P

And I'd have to say that Motion Picture Soundtrack is one of the best tracks on Kid A (1. Everything In It's Right Place 2. The National Anthem 3. How To Disappear Completely 4. Motion Picture Soundtrack)
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

Orbital - The Middle Of Nowhere

A lot of people say this album is weak, uninteresting, boring, etc. But for me, it's the second best Orbital album. I like it even more than "Brown Album". Maybe it's because "TMON" was the first Orbital album I bought... But I love every second of it, from start to finish

Hell yah. Best Orbital CD ever.

@ anType: What are you talking about!!!!!! }:-@

I love JXL (Junkie XL).

I've seen him live 6 times.

I own all his albums, some singles, some 12-inch.

I even got the album Saturday teenage kick in 2 versions.

The original release and the blue one with some live tracks.

I also love his remixes for:

Fear Factory, Praga Khan and David Gahan(from DM) to name a few.

Also his production work is great.

Sasha - Airdrawndagger!!!!

Some local Dutch bands.

It wouldn't ring a bell for you all.

So you could say I adore the guy. ;-)

Do you also know some of his old bands?

They sound totally different to JXL.

The other groups are: Nerve (industrial/Metal)

and Weekend at Wakiki (Rock)

Although he wasn't on all the albums from Weekend at Wakiki.

@ Iguana: you should do that.

You probably like the track "Red" from his lattest album

"Radio JXL - A Broadcast From The Computer Hell Cabin"

This lattest album isn't really bigbeat anymore.

But it's still great.

I actually did like the Elvis tune when it was on the Oceans Eleven soundtrack by David Homes but when it got as big as it did, I hated it, as I do now.

@anType: I'll try to find that limited edition here for you.

I saw it a few weeks ago in a second hand store for 10Euro.

If I find it I'll let you know and send to you by post.

You know that there are also some live tracks on there?????

I don't own 7AM Dance & 7 AM Ambient :'(

Because I don't have a credit card so I can't pay to download them. :x

Tom didn't get that much money for that remix.

Although that the single was sold a lot.

Ok he did get some money.

But not as much as for a regular No.1. hit.

Because the Elvis family claimed most of the money.

Tom told in interviews that he mostly got a famous name from the doing the remix.

The song wasn't bad but it wasn't good either.

It wasn't a typical JXL song though.
