I didn't pay for them, but.....

Since the wireless router I bought a while back but never got around to hooking up was crap, it was replaced by a better one, so I now have my own little workstation in the basement by my room that isn't ridden with viruses and spyware. Yay!

Also, I now have a queen-sized bed and my old bed (a double) goes into the guestroom. Bring on the ladies! I can fit a few of them in. ;-)

I've played TimeSplitters 2 on my GameCube tonight... I didn't play it for 6 months, and this game is always as good as the first time I played it :D

Picked up the Rapture's new album today, as well as a beef diablo pizza, rented Kill Bill 1 & 2, and a half dozen pints at the pub.

Good day.

I dont think they excist actually.

I mean , you need a BIG smoke detector if you want to fill it with enough water to stop whatever's on fire.

Those are screw-fitted into a water line though. He wants something completely self-contained.

YES! YES IT IS! I've got my ipod shuffle attached to it and I sit there and read books about pipes. Watched MI:III by plugging it into my TV the other week, was cool to feel the vibration through the chair.

The king of all entertainment chairs though is the Armed Chair. That IS mental.

Assuming the credit application goes through on Monday and there are no problems with signing the paperwork....

This becomes mine this week and currently has a "pending sale" sticker on it:

It's the twin cam, DOHC version with an extra 25 horsepower. Handles great, feels peppy, is oh-so-light, with great seats and a trunk that rates an 8 on the Dead Hooker scale. Power doors, power locks, power windows, keyless entry, CD player (and I'll be adding my sub, of course), tinted glass. Will be getting a very extensive warranty, too, where if you don't make any claims on it you get the premium refunded at the end of the term. Very, very happy about this.

It's a 2002 model with only 20,000 km on it. Absolute mint condition. Payment is a little higher than I wanted, but what I'll save in repairs and gas will probably make up for it.

cool ride! 8)

----------

Kinda Splurged today, since i went walking around downtown chicago.

First stoped at the anual German Kris Kringle Festival in daily plaza. Got me self a Brawt and Kraut ($5.50) . Washed it with a german beer that my dad bought me since im underage ($4), cant remember the name of the beer. Walked down michigan ave. Stoped at the Virgin Mega store. Finally, got my copy of Leftield - "Leftism", and also picked up Roots Manuva - "Run Come Save Me" (total of $30). There was alot more cd's i wanted to buy, but i had to limit myself. Then latter on after we were walking around michigan avenue we went out to a greek resturant. Ordered a boat load of food:

a cup of Avgolemono soup

Saganaki (Flaming Cheese)

a small greek salad

a half portion of chicken riganati

and then a half portion of Pastichio

Yes I am now a fat fuck, but all of it was fucking excellent. Those Greeks now how to cook!

Oh yeah and my dad paid the dinner bill, score!

I really dig the blue the best of all - plus it's got the extras that you wanted and the nice warranty. You can't go wrong so I really hope you're back here next week. So the next picture of this car will be with you in the driver's seat sporting sun glasses and your best come-hither look. ;)
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

How much is it setting you back, Tim?

(can you remind me what the conversion rate on Canadian dollars is too? :-// )

Purchase price was $11500, but because I financed rather than paying cash they had a $1000 discount. Therefore, it cost $10500 CDN + taxes, which equals roughly 4800 GBP.

Financed it over 48 months, monthly payment will be roughly $250 CDN (110 GBP), I think, possibly a little more with the warranty. (By comparison, my payment on my 1990 Talon is abut $170 CDN.... plus repairs.... Grrr.......)

It was a fair price for the vehicle, based on the market, and considering how spectacularly mint the car is, with so few kilometres, I think I got a decent deal.

Now I just need to get rid of the Talon. Don't think it will fetch more than about $1000 CDN. Might part it out instead.
