Wow, just wow. This is gonna be awesome. I wonder what songs their gonna play. And I wonder how they will sound. They look so old. But it will be legendary. And I will be watching the live television broadcast.

Apparantly they will be doing a huge tour within the next year too! 2007 has been an awesome year, and this just makes it even better.

ps - i couldnt find the old zeppelin thread.

You're going to have fun, prochem. People give the ageing rockers slack, but it's still legendary to see something like that if you have the chance. Robert Plant was a rock god, probably the last of it's kind, really. Not too many rock gods (as in vocal delivery and larger-than-life stage persona) left that are still performing. It'll be a rockin show.

Ever hear of a band called Dread Zeppelin, prochem? They are Zepplin songs done reggae style with an Elvis impersonator on lead vocals. You have to hear their take on Immigrant Song. It's hilarious. And before anyone starts screaming sacrilege, Dread Zeppelin opened up for Robert Plant on a few occasions.

Yea, i've seen them. But nothing compares to the original. I really want them to play "Royal Orleans" off of their album "Presence". I highly doubt it though, but its my favorite song by them!

Dread is amazing!!!

It is awesome that you're hitting up a Zeppelin gig....

He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

Update - Arrived, there is such a buzz in the air, and every single person is wearing a led zeppelin t-shirt. This will probably be my last post until after the show. There is so much excitment in the air. Everyone is going crazy! I can't wait much longer! This is bigger than woodstock!

Oh god! Oh god! Theres just no way to describe in words how amazing it was. Even if I was to write a review, it wouldn't do it justice. Just watch some videos. Oh god!

Watching a video of Stairway to heaven right now... That's amazing. However there's something strange about drums... it lacks something...

It lacks John! Jason may be a great drummer, but its just not the same with out John.

So what!! Still a legendary show, what better way to pay tribute to John Bonham than to have his own son play. Filling in for John Bonham is a pretty tall fuckin' order, even if it's the man's own flesh and blood filling those shoes.
