It's taken from Charlatans "Patrol"
On our way, on our way to get back home and see you today...
Here's a brief thread talking about it. Unfortunately the link that's in this thread is a dead acid clown end.

I always thought it was 'On a wave, on a wave, on a wave (takes me here), on a wave (takes me here).'
Oh well.
Oh well.

This is what I always thought and read somewhere
But rather than (takes me here) it's "today", in my eyes..or ears rather.
So just to recap, from the top, and a one, two, three, four...."On a wave, On a Wave, On a Wave today, on a wave today...."
...And, also heard that it was our very own Tom Rowlands on vocal duty for it.
My life is a boat, being blown by you. With nothing ahead, just the deepest blue... To me you're like a setting sun. You rise then you're gone.

No, I'm sure it samples Patrol by The Charlatans. Go to 5:00 of Patrol (The Chemical Brothers Remix) if you don't believe me.
Cool, I like the idea of this, I will check it out, I'm not saying I'm right, just thought I was - kind of :-/

Yeah I hear it to at 5:00mins on Patrol, but it's just half of the lyric on Sunshine. . . So did I dream that I read/heard that Tom Rowlands contributed vocals to this? Wouldn't be that hard to believe.

Upon closer inspection, the second sunshine lyrics definitely go "today", but it's pronounced more like "too-day-ee".
Listen at 5:06. It's masked by the insruments somewhat, but if you listen closely you can hear that "too-day-ee".
