Lazers, there's lots of lazers. And the stars on the screen are so cool!

Anyways, that screen behind them looked like the transparent ones...with the visuals being projected from behind it...
This was brought up in an older topic on theprevious messageboard - ooh how cool it would be if they had layer screens!
Good vibes from this thread, need to keep positive and hopefully the good thoughts here in this thread can spill over into the Roundhouse tix not arrived thread!!!

SPOILER!!!!! This review contains pictures and setlist!!!!!!
Excellent Evening. Can't wait to do it again at the Roundhouse and again in June waahaa!!!
Liked the show very much. It was less techno, a more reduced, scaled down ( we say 'ingetogen' in Holland) than the Push the Button tour. 6 new tracks which is great, The Sunshine Underground as encore, Burst Generator a bit early in de set which is a bit of a shame cause it is a highlight of We are the night but also understandable (I'm making new words here) because Saturate/EBW8 is a bit on the same vibe and that one is played in the second half of the show. I was surprised they opened with Galvanize, I was hoping for We are the night but that was used as a replacement for EBW 7 and worked very well.
The visuals amazing. A HUGE LED screen behind the brothers displayed some very realistic clown faces singing. But exploding paintballs on Saturate were lovely.
Very tame audience which was a bit of a shame but the, let me call it drunken Tilburg students making a mosh pit at Chemical beats and TSU was on the other end of the spectrum being anoying. But only at 3 songs so I won't complain too much about it.

JeaniE! Was that all? I'd have expected you writing a monster review and not a tiny story . . . hahah.
It must have been a great night full of insanity, overwhelming impressions (damn, the visuals of saturate look like a massive electric ******). Ooooooweeehhh!
But why the heck don't they play more tunes now where they've got 6 albums!!! They easily could fill 2 or more hours without gettin' boring... We need more, we need more, we need more!!! This all drives me nutz. Watching the vids and reading your post of emotions makes me feel like I was there myself. Looks like they put the visual more in foreground this time (look at the association with the album's title, all these stars). This NPTF intro is it the same as sneakers intro vid??? Plz, i need to know!!!

Sounds like an awesome gig Jeanie and Joslyn, thanks for the reviews!
I too hope they play around a bit with the set list, it's more exciting when you don't know exactly what will be played, sounds like a fresh and cool set though!
And yo! Ben_J...where did you see the new Paris date? It's not at the live section yet, right? I might actually be able to get there!
This is a cool thread! Will watch the videos now...

Jeanie, I didn't mind the track itself, just the the voice at the beginning is a little bit inharmonic to the wobbling piano sound, ya know. Something that makes you "errr, wrong placed?!?" kinda feel. Like Ben_j said, lil but cheesy. Think as well the synth and the beats as a transstion would be alright. The voice could kick in later.

Jeanie and Joslyn, thanks for the reviews and articulating much of the stuff going through my head. I was also there, but not down in the snake pit with you guys. I was behind the sound and light desks in the middle which was superb for the sound, but dead for the energy. It was greating watching this massive group of jumpers below in the pit, pumping up and down like a frenzied heartbeat, with Joslyn's friend in the white T leading the madness.
The crowd were a bit dead, but that must have been because most of them wouldn't have heard 60% of the set before. It was only after I snatched a MP3 copy of WATN, that I decided I couldn't wait until Heineken. Maybe someone has already explained the timing of the CD release, but it seems crazy to release the CD after the tour.
Highlights for me were Saturate, Das Spiegel (although Tom's haunting melodica got lost in the beats) and (as always) surface to air. Goose bumps everyone.
Visuals were stunning....
