THANK YOU THOMAS :D:D

I am so FUCKING excited about this movie.

Me and my brother grew up watching the series on tv , and we had Bumblebee and Optimus Primus at home to play with. Ive seen the trailer and that already blew me away!

Who else is excited ?!

I'm a TF fan as well. Don't have that much toys anymore but I do collect the new comics from Dreamwave and IDW. I am very excited about this movie but IMO Michael Bay made 2 good movies (the Rock & the Island) and I think I will be disapointed by this movie. Mainly because I think a movie would work best if you keep it close to the original but M. Bay wanted to make a more 'realistic' movie so Prime and Megatron won't appear as we know them. Shame

I would recommend avoiding this movie if you're a Transfomers fan... srsly, it's gonna rape and destroy your precious childhood memories.

Mike Bay has NEVER made a good movie (the Rock and the Island were seriously fucking lame, full of plot holes and silliness) and he will destroy the Transformers franchise forever.

IMO, of course ;)

I'm not a huge transformers fan either, I did have a really, really cool jet toy when I was a kid, copied from the veritech fighters from Macross, that was branded a 'Transformer', but I no longer have it. I went looking, it's like $500 now if you can find one.

The boychild wants to see this, so I will go.

When i was a kid we used to play with these figures. Man that was a time. I loved them. Didn't know there will be a movie about it.

I think this film is gonna be big fun. Spiderman 3 has 5 set pieces, this film crams 20 set pieces into it's two and a half hours running time. Anyone seen the tv spots? They look great

What do you mean with set-pieces ?

a set piece in a film is an action sequence. Like the fight between spidey and Goblin Jr., or the big fight at the end. Heck, even the dance scene in the jazz bar was a set piece.

AHHHH I feel like I'm back at work again.....Was I the only kid in the 80s that didn't watch TF. I was stuck on astroboy. I may see it once the hype has died down though. I'll be partially thinking of you jeanie at that moment.....gotta remeber this post though

Grew up on the original, still love the animated movie, all my toys are still around (albeit boxed up and in the storage room), but this movie looks like it may put in a serious challenge to Battlefield Earth for "worst movie ever".

I'll go see it to heckle the shit out of it and then go home and watch the animated one.

(Disclaimer: I've only seen the teaser trailer and it looks utter shit.)

:( Man, I really need to watch the original transformers. I grew up with Beast Wars, which I have a hard time believing was worse than TF. Sadly, I also watched Beast Machines, which was shite compared to its forerunner. (Beast Machines did have Phat Planet as its intro song every episode though :))

I'm still excited about this movie, even if its quality looks sketchy.
