Did EMI change their copyright laws? I tried clicking on some music videos of The Chemical Brothers on youtube and it says EMI blocked viewing in my country on copyright grounds. Here's the uploader's channel page:

anyone else have the same problem?

Yup, I'm getting the same note. I've encountered lots of those ones in recent years and I hate thise type of facism.

Funny thing. I'm watching Star Wars Eps. 2 right now. And while I was wondering how this Nathalie Portman character ever could engage with Anakin (as he is maybe 10 years old in eps 1 whereas she is at least twice as old as him and in eps. 2 he aged while she doesn't seem to age at all) she says to the Vader-to-be: "Anakin, don’t try to grow up too fast".
Put a huge smile on my face. Maybe its the grow-fast drugs that turned him into the vicious black helmet wearer he becomes in the future (not to mention his rasp voice) :D

Well, that's because most of the dialouge in Star Wars is pretty bad when you stop and think about it (that is, excluding Episode five).

Although you've gotta love Mace's "This party's over" line. Posted Image
Most badass Star Wars moment ever.

I think Padme's 5 years older than Anakin, they're 14 and 9 respectively in Episode 1, so that's not too bad of an age gap.

Had a party Saturday night and I am really hopeless at choosing music, so much to choose from, so I wrote a new random generator for my Juke Box software. I chose about 15 of my favorite artists, typed in 50 and away it goes generating 50 random tracks. I deliberately did not put in the Brothers, for this selection. Then I chose about 4 more select artists including The Dust Brother and The Chemical Brothers, put 50 again and added it to the list.

So after about 4 hours of non-stop dancing and really loving all of the music the first 50 tracks finish and Burst Generator kicks in. What can I say, I just melted into it and was taken to another place.

No matter how hard I try to find music that does it for me like the Brothers do, nothing comes close.

Watching 'Wizard of Oz'

The 'approaching tornado' scene freaks me out sometimes. Very convincing special effect!

Maybe you shouldn't expect the same experience that you get from the Chems music in others' work.
I've only recently discovered the greatness of Aphex Twin, and i must say, it's a totally different experience once you start looking at it from a different angle.

I think it is possible to have a great experience with other bands and other kinds of music. It's possible to love other bands and find the things they do to be extraordinary. But when it comes full circle and back to my favorite band, I am reminded why they are my favorite band to begin with...

Don't get me wrong, I still have a great time to other bands and music, but it still blows me away how as soon as I hear something from the Brothers it touches me where no other music ever has, it's like the best feeling x 10. I guess most people already know this feeling, but I have never felt anything like this for any music till I saw the Brothers live in 08.

One of my favourite actors.
His serious approach to the roles made those spoof movies 10x funnier.

I just found out about this. Very talented man! He was also in the Canadian Air Force! The Naked Gun series was one of the most watched flicks i've seen. I can quote most of the best scenes just from the top of my head . Here's just a few of them:

Lt. Frank Drebin: It's the same old story. Boy finds girl, boy loses girl, girl finds boy, boy forgets girl, boy remembers girl, girl dies in a tragic blimp accident over the Orange Bowl on New Year's Day.

Jane: Goodyear?

Frank: No, the worst.

Jane: I've heard police work is dangerous.

Frank: It is. That's why I carry a big gun.

Jane: Aren't you afraid it might go off accidentally?

Frank: I used to have that problem.

Jane: What did you do about it?

Frank: I just think about baseball.

__

Frank: It's true what they say: Cops and women don't mix. It's like eating a spoonful of Drano; sure, it'll clean you out, but it'll leave you hollow inside.

__

Frank: Wilma, I promise you; whatever scum did this, not one man on this force will rest one minute until he's behind bars. Now, let's grab a bite to eat.

__

Jane: I wanted you to know, now, I've loved you since the first day I met you, and I'll never stop. I'm a very lucky woman.

Frank: So am I..

--

Frank: Jane, since I've met you, I've noticed things that I never knew were there before... birds singing, dew glistening on a newly formed leaf, stoplights.

From 1991’s "The Naked Gun 2 1/2: The Smell of Fear":

Lt. Frank Drebin: Now, Jane, what can you tell us about the man you saw last night?

Jane: He's Caucasian.

Captain Ed: Caucasian?

Jane: Yeah, you know, a white guy. A moustache. About six-foot-three.

Frank: Awfully big moustache.

__

Frank: That's the red-light district. I wonder why Savage is hanging around down there.

Captain Ed: Sex, Frank?

Frank: Uh, no, not right now, Ed

Glad to say that he gave me comic relief for my generation.

@inchemwetrust: You're fantastic. You always manage to make me laugh, and I appreciate your tribute to Leslie Nielsen.

@Graysquire: Sounds like an epic Underworld set!!! How was Leftfield?

@Bloke: If I cared about System of a Down, fantastic news!

@Krisper: Riiiight?

@Whirls: You rock.

Wish me luck during my Torts final tomorrow. Contracts final on Friday. HOLY SHIT!

Oh, and maybe see you at Ultra Fest. I wanted to go last year but my friends backed out on me. This year I'm going to make a run at it again.

Did I say something unbelievable, or just plain weird?

I know I say way too much on these forums, and being pretty new you are a hard group to crack, but I tell you it's not my fault. It's all Tom and Ed's fault, they have brought out a passion in me I never knew I had.

Good luck in your exam, I have a C++ exam in about an hour, and here I am reading these forums.
