I'm sober till the end of lent. Me and my housemate decided to give up alcohol for lent, mainly to see if we could go 40 days without getting wasted. Plus, he's on anti-depressants and not supposed to be drinking. Hasn't stopped him for the rest of the year, but he was never gonna give up on his own, so we're both doing it. Still go out on monday nights though (our regular night, has been for 2.5 years!), but I've gotta say, it blows being sober.

ah the monday night up town, what fun :)



There's hardly anyone there but when you're with some mates pissed, it's a fukin laugh. Not had a bad monday night yet. There are a fair share of weirdo's on Monday nights. I've seen my fair share of Transexuals and old men with no teeth blowing whistles :?



I've tried giving up alcohol, but it just isn't happening, I've just got to accept it's my friend now *hugs his whiskey bottle*

I too am on med of a sort so I have decided to give up drinking for a while .. ti will be easy becuase I dont drink EVERYDAY and when I was drunk here on the board that was only when I came back from the bar .. It's not like I need it everydau of my life.. so from this day forward im sober .. gotta be Id liek my insides to be well and not die on me .. thats all for now
