Ah to be young and free. Not that it's a bad thing but I've forgotten what it's like to be single, hahaha! I honestly don't know what I'd do with myself. I was always hopeless when it came to flirting and totally clueless when anyone was flirting with me.

I forgot how good it can feel to have a boyfriend :-P Hahaha.
I've never been the flirty kinda person anyway. Not that there is anything wrong with being flirty, i'm just not flirty and i def aint the fucking around kinda type. I need consistensy, and i am very faithfull too. I know this is not what most of you would expect of me

So our neighbors across the way like to go to massives and clubs and such, and when news of Nocturnal Wonderland with the Chemical Brothers came around, we told them they *had* to be there. So they made plans and drove up together.
We ended up meeting up with them briefly before the Chems came on and we went our seperate ways to enjoy the gig.
We didn't hear from our neighbors for a while, til one of them, Eddie, gave stash a call late last week. Of course the first thing my husband asked was, "So, what did you think of the Chemical Brothers?" and Eddie says it was one of the most incredible things he's ever seen! But the bummer part - Eddie only got to see the first half hour. Apparently there was some drama with our other neighbor and he made Eddie leave! Not just the gig but the rave! Poor Eddie, he was so upset and the first thing he did when he got home was check to see when the Chemical Brothers were coming back and was crestfallen to see it wasn't in the cards. I don't know what the drama was (I do know it had nothing to do with anyone getting hurt) but I feel sad for neighbor Eddie. After over a year of us hyping the Chems live show to him, plus being teased with having his time cut short... How upsetting, I would be in a world of anger and plain old sadness if I was made to leave a gig early over stupid drama.

I did a little happy dance at Amoeba records today. I finally picked up a copy (it was a promo in a card board sleeve) of The Private Psychadelic Reel - in great condition. I know I could have gotten it online, but I held out hope I would be able to purchase it at a shop. I was surprised it came, and still had, a sticker and a poster showing pics of their singles and Dig Your Own Hole album covers. The good good bonus is the really cool live Setting Sun, because I hadn't heard it before.
I have a question about this. On the top left hand corner of the cover there is a white rectangle with a number in it. Mine's 17194. Is this a promo marking, and if so do any of you bloodhounds (anType ?) know how many of these are in print? I know it's kind of trivial, but I was just curious.

Random thoughts on the best moments of the year:
Bosco yelling 'WHIRLYGIRL!' really loud at the LAPD right as Biff almost walked right into the pavement.
Sweaty group hugs with pooter during 'Golden Path', like being in church, but a good church
having drinks in a kitchin in hollywood with one of the worlds greatest musicians, and finding out that he's a really, really cool guy too.
Watching WATN synch up to Chicken Little and Astroboy
eating really, really good belgian chocolate that almost impossible to get in the U.S.
uhm... yeah. I'm high.

One of the funniest internet stories ever
http://www.laweekly....se-james/17427/
although, I have to say, if the author thinks this sor of thing is unique, rare, or even not commonplace, he needs to spend more time on the net.
