Was talking to one of my house mates yesterday about a gig he went to recentally and how the gig was offically recorded then packaged and sold straight after the gig. You could even buy recording from other shows on the tour. How cool is this, just think how brilliant it would be if the chems did this with UK and rest of the world on the current PTB tour.



Would also love a chemical back to mone cd, remixes compilation and EBW and rare compilation.

That would be such a good idea...!!

Some shows do that. I went to see Cats once, and they were selling DVDs of the show afterwards near the door.

yeah i've mentioned this before on here. when i went to see pop will eat itself in january you could buy the live recording of the night. they were available 15 minutes after the gig!! you could drive home and re-live the gig you have just been to. the also did an instant dvd which was available the day after recording. they produced this over night and sold at the rest of the gigs. the products were great bits of memerobilia of a good night out. the audio recording was not perfect. the sound was captured straight from the mixing desk and therefore the eq's were a bit a miss to compensate for the venues acoustics. still its a lot better than someone in the crowd with a microphone!!!

Sorry sneaker i forgot about you mentioning that. I wonder if the chems will ever do this?

yeah i think it's only these people who do it at the mo http://www.getlive.co.uk/instantlive/ i think its part of clear channel promotions so whilst the chems do gigs with sjm promotions i dont think it will happen.

i reads on teletext that erasure are doing it at gigs now, i dunno who promotes there tours. be good if sjm did start doing this however.
