Hi all.

Here is my problem : with two friends of mine, I've made an amateur video clip on The Pills Won't Help You Now. Proud of the result, we wanted to publish our work on Dailymotion.com . But our video clip was forbidden, because we don't have the official permission of the Chemical Brothers.

So : Is it worth to ask Chemical Bros. for permission, and if yes, how could I do that ?

Or maybe I must try to publish it without "The Pills Won't Help you Now - Amateur video clip" for title... Because you know many people publish amateur work, and I think they don't have all permissions.

Thanks for reading, and helping.

Edit : Sorry for the mistakes, I'm French, so I don't write perfectly English.

Getting permission isn't very likely. I'd stick to eating brie and drinking red wine if I were you.

Let's see!

First, you need a music clearance from a music publishing company.

Read This! Maybe this will give you an idea!

Take a look at the liner notes of We Are the Night, get the contact info of the record company, send them some correspondence asking permission, be prepared to be rejected, and move on from there.

Good luck!
