I know its a little while til the chems play there but i was just wondering how a late night gig compares to a normal gig at Brixton. Normally the Chems would come on about 9 but seeing as this is when it opens im guessing they wont be on for a few hours.



Can any1 therefore gig a rough guide to the times the chems will be on at the late night brixton shows.



I know its early to ask.

late normally has a 3 am curfew at brixton. i guess the band would be on around 11 with a dj closing the night.

probaly james holyrord closing with a dj set which is nice cause he plays songs off confront your demons. any plans for a pre gig meet up?

na have to disagree. holroyd will be doing the warm up and i'm sure they will have someone more banging for the end of the night!! of the top of my head at previous brixton late nighters we have had slam live, sasha, and jon carter. who would ya like to see close the night?? i'd have to say id love to hear jon carter play a set again, i haven't heard him in years and he knows how to rock the joint!!

Slam are shit hot. Yous should try to get a night out in the arches for pressure, last friday of every month in glasgow. They normally have excellent guests too, January is laurent garnier 5 hr set and feb is jeff mills, march has ben simms and luke slater i think. Its slam's night so they always play too. Cracking night out.

i went up to the arches for new years eve, they let too many people in and ruined it for me. stunning acoustics in that club though

im gna be at the show on 19th, i thought at the time i brought it that it wud be the last tour date so the best to go to.



I know its a while off but what are people doing prior to the gig.

forgot to say im going with 3 other mates cause normally its hard convinceing people to do to that kinda thing but this time there well up 4 it. One mate payed �37 on ebay.

i'm on stag do duties the weekend before. seeing as i'm ment to be planning it, although i done nothing for it so far. i did tell the groom that we couldn't have his stag do that weekend cos of the chemical brothers at brixton!!!

Yeah it would be better as the gig will be longer and have more oppertunites for longer sets and more dj. Plus at 3.00am its gonna be a bitch to get outta Brixton. Im guessing its to do with the license that its not on til 6.00am
