shit!, it even has my house there :P
It has some places like 30miles away from where i live..
Do people actually think there is ghosts in them places.. i thought ghosts were aload of balls
The reasonable, rational person in me resists the notion of ghosts or anything supernatural. But there can be times when my gut overrides all other thought processes.
I don't know... I've had odd experiences that were just... weird, like afterward all reason flew out the window. I also firmly believe that in those instances, there really is no real rational or reasonable explanation - for me anyway. I think there are some things supernatural that exist, you know, energy is a very powerful thing that can manifest into something that can be felt, heard or even seen. It's the same thing when you go into a place and you're getting a vibe, that vibe's going to affect your perception.
It's a tough one because it's just too hard to prove the esistance of something that cannot be reasonably or scientifically explained. Sometimes your gut is all you have, and our brains are often in conflict with what our guts tell us.

One thing I can't stand is those TV shows where the presenter interacts with ghosts and the audience (so they seem to think ) and he connects the audience with their dead family members by vague simularities. I think it might be called "Crossing over"....
Anyway, they did a piss take version but the audience were lead to believe it was real (to show how stupid members of the public are). The fake presenter talked to the audience and pretended that he was talking to the dead, and the audience were believing it and agreeing with him.
The funniest part though was (you'll only probably understand this if you're British) when he says (in an attempt to connect with the audience) "who here, when watching Eastenders knows when the drums are about to hit?" and they all put their hands up like they were all phycic too.
um, anyway, Now Loving: Happy Music.

That Crossing Over show is a crock of poo.
I just don't buy it. South Park had a really funny episode that not only made fun of that show, but in its own South Park way explained how the show works the audience. But what pisses me off about shows like Crossing Over is they take advantage of people who've lost loved ones or had some kind of trauma in their lives. These people want things explained, they want answers to the unanswerable. I don't think it's that the people in the audience are imbeciles, I just think their grief is being exploited.

Now loving: Coffee
Just went to bring this thread back to the top and say exactly what I see you said a week and a half ago!
Thank goodness for caffeine or my grades would be in the crapper this year.
After getting 1.5 hours of sleep the other day before my early class, I dissolved a couple caffeine pills into an extra-large cappuccino and started my day. Had THE strangest sleep in a while during the afternoon: twitching, odd dreams, time distortion (kept waking up, feeling like a couple hours had passed, but it had only been like 8 minutes), felt like a total tweaker.

I dunno whats worse though hahaa. The smell of ALCOHOL or the smell of COFFEE breath. I had it so many times that in the morning when the make up artist would do my make up , they just had a coffee and a ciggy , and they would smell so bad. I have developed this special breathing technic for cases like this. Breath out when they breath out , breath in when they breath in.
