Prochem, the reason England are not in Euro 2008 this year is because we where managed by a complete twat called Steve McLaren. Because we think we have the right to think that we should be in at least the semi finals of all tournaments in world football we hound perfectly good managers into resigning (Eriksson) and replace them with inexperienced ginger fucks with no knowledge on how to manage a team. They drop our most talented and experienced players and them reluctantly call them back up when they have totally fucked up everything (Beckham) Hope this explains it for you.

weakened? No. different? Yes.

Van Basten obviously is not going to use the same players he used for the last matches. He will not use the ones with yellow cards and he will not use the ones that need to rest. Holland is very fortunate because even the players who sat on the couch the past two matches are class-A players. It's a good oppurtunity to also give them some minutes. Like Huntelaar, he's an amazing football player.

And Robben and van Persie are still playing.

Only thing that worries me a bit is that van de Sar is not in the goal. He is a really big part of our team!

My prediction for tonite? 2-1 for Holland.

If Romania wins neither Italy or France will go trough.

I have to agree Holland was not as strong as previous matches in the first half and Romania did very well defense-wise. But we came back strong and won once again! I thought it was quite a fair match against a difficult team. Romania did well!

But Holland did better :-D

Oh to be a Dutch football fan! Holland have always had great fans although for me Romanian and Croatian fans have been best in this tournament, jumping up and down and singing all game. During the Germany game the Croatians were singing "Deutsche Deutsche Auf Wiedersen!" (goodbye Germany) lol.

I think the French were unlucky last night (agreed about Henry's booking, the ref was pretty poor last night imo) but haven't been good enough over the last 3 games. However Italy will have to improve if they're gonna to beat Spain, they'll have to bring someone in who can finish unlike Luca Toni last night!
