I've read a couple of things over the years - from what I remember that it was the name of a boat, and that piku means "little italian".

Don't really know for sure though, my memory could be failing at my age!

I could swear I read about the name Piku in an old Ask Tom & Ed (or maybe it was a webchat from around the Surrender era, and someone had asked)

But I can't find that webchat, nor can I find the old Ask Tom & Ed's. I'm going nuts here!! This is seriously bugging me now.

I am starting to have fucking-animal-in-eric's-house bouts of self doubt over this. It's like I'm taking fucking crazy pills. I know I read some about this somewhere a few years ago, about where the name Piku came from - I spent a good portion of last night scouring the internet and... grrr. I think I'm going to have to shelve this and come to grips with my age affiliated memory loss.
