If you were in the chems position and you wanted to make a greatest hits cd, what songs would be on it and in what order? Like fading the songs into each other. I would put them in the the order that gives them the best feel of the chems. This isn't what songs you like, it's what songs are they're greatest.

This is my list:

1. Elektrobank

2. Life Is Sweet

3. Galvanize

4. Song To The Siren

5. Hey Girl, Hey Boy

6. Star Guitar

7. Get Yorself High

8. Believe

9. Let Forever Be

10. Setting Sun

11. Leave Home

12. Music Responce

12. The Golden Path

13. Block Rockin Beats

14. Out Of Control

15. The Private Psycadellic Reel

Thats it, alot of songs.....^_^

Well, you gotta hand it to re-Dig for trying to keep the Chems talk going in these slow times.

Their Singles comp could be called a greatest hits comp but that doesn't necessarily make it so. Of course the songs on there are great, but those are just the singles. They must've thought they were great enough to release as singles!

Compiling a list like this, while fun, doesn't really constitute what's their greatest because then we're just going to egg on possible wars on what's great and what isn't... It's too hard to get inside Tom and Ed's head and determine which songs are the greatest - I'm sure they both have differing opinions on what they think are their greatest works.

Here is my awful attempt at this, with just using the singles that they have released.

1. Come With Us

2. Get Yourself High

3. Out of Control

4. Elecktrobank

5. Leave Home

6. Setting Sun

7. Hey Boy Hey Girl

8. Life Is Sweet

9. Believe

10. Music: Response

11. The Boxer

12. It Began In Afrika

13. The Test

ok mine is terrible.....mixing them together is way to tough....I would rather leave that up to Tom and Ed. Plus, sometimes its nice to have a non-single in the mix aswell.

I remember reading one criticism of the Singles where the writer complained what a "missed opportunity" it was that the Chems didn't make a mix out of the Singles comp.

I can see the critic's point, but on the other hand it was a Singles comp, not a mix comp. What was put on the CD was how they were released, as singles.

I'd actually wouldn't mind another mix cd from the Chems a la Live @ The Social or Brothers Gonna Work It Out. That would be pretty sweet.

Honestly, I've listened to live chems shows more than any of their studio albums. And I think right there is your greatest hits. The singles to me was a more "radio friendly" compilation but when you want to make a best of for the fans you really got to go to the live shows, plus they are all mixed together into one journey.

1.Block rockin beats

2. Leave Home

3. Setting sun

4. Elektrobank

5. Come With Us

6. Music Responce

7. Believe

8. Let Forever be

9. The Boxer

10. Star Guitar

11. The Private Psycadellic Reel

probably not how they would make it.
