What I don't get, though, are the videos. They're sort of disturbing.
The other two songs that were released previously have grown on me to some degree. So I think calling this yet-to-be-released album their worst is a bit unfair.
Btw, Liam also reused that door-like squeaking noise from Omen. Did you notice?

Oh come on, Benji. On how many occasions did the chems reuse sounds and noises? Like the famous birdy crash cymbal that's sort of become a chems' trademark?
This is a debatable argument
Btw, how come that so many songs have already been relased before the album? is this due to new developments in the music industry (leaks and stuff)?

Instrumentally it's awesome though, definitely agree with Csar on all points.

EDIT: Whatever this is/was, it wasn't on Eddy's show last Friday.
Incidentally they are also releasing a coloured 7" of Ibiza for Record Store Day

Meanwhile John Robb from Louder Than War has done a track by track review of the album. It may be worth remembering that he comes from a 'Punk Rock' background so he may not be as likely to dissect the production or train-spot the samples in the same way that folks around here would.

Very mixed feelings about TDIME. Title track may be the best song Liam sets up in the past 10 years, Nasty is also at least listenable - but Wild Frontier and now Wall Of Death? I really don't know...

On the upside, while it's not quite a verse-chorus-verse song, at least Keith has a lot of different little nonsensical catchphrases he switches between instead of just one that he runs into the ground.
And there are some DJ Mustard fingersnaps at 1:29, which is kind of amusing.
I'm really reaching here guys

I'm going to cut myself on all these edges.
"Follow me to the wall of death." Wall of Death? MST3K probably riffed a movie called that...

Sorry, WhieNoise, I didn't get a thing you were saying. Could you please rephrase?
Well the song itself is weird, somehow. Not necessarily in bad way. It mangages to convey the flavour of various styles like punk, electro and the oldschool rave era (especially that synth melody). But to me this all feels just like another stomper Liam has become so comfortable with since FOTL. It's like in the review above, everything seems like it's been created just to hit hard without any compromises. Nuances and subtleties are few and far between. Every song feels like a message of something, a statement of Liam's, a view into his personality. And with that said, he comes across as a very pissed man with a pile load of anger. I mean, that man is a genius in his field, he created a unique musical style, an unparalleled sound. But at the same time he seems to be trapped in what he's created, sticking to "one" formula, afraid of exploring other territories or facettes (even of the same sound).
Maybe I'm over-analyzing it.
Let's see what "Beyond the deathray" has to offer which according to the above review is described as calmer and less aggressive. I'm interested in such an approach of Liam's.
In a nutshell, I liked the other one's better.
