Sorry, but I think the idea of wanting something bad enough to the point where you don't care how you go about it, even if you have to take measures that are against the wishes of the bad... doesn't that sound greedy as well? Do I think this attitude makes you any less of a fan? NO, I think you love the music like anyone else here (or else, why would you be here?) - but I think that opinion puts me in the minority. I just think this kind of I-don't-care-how-I-get-their-music-even-if-it-goes-against-what-the-band-whats attitude is a bit sad. Not to mention, greedy!



Sure, the Chemicals are about music and love. That, we can agree on that.



But I don't think a person who was entrusted by the Chemicals with their music is at all greedy for not pimping out their tunes on the net, or sharing or whatever, long before the record hits streets. A long time ago, someone asked them how they came up with the names for their songs and they said, "imagination, and their friends." Now are their friends greedy because they won't leak their tunes to us? How about their families - their wives and siblings and parents, etc? Surely, they must've heard the new material by now! Do you think they are greedy for keeping the songs under wraps?

I am a huge Prodigy fan as some others around here. I think it's real stupid that their new album has leaked on the net. But I hear everyone talk about it but if you don't want to hear it don't go looking for it and download it. I really enjoy the anticipation of counting down to the release date, first thing you do that day is run to the record store, buy the album and play it over and over again. I know what I'll be doing 23 august.



What I don't find strange is that there are so little rare live tracks by the Chems on the internet. I've got "little goblin" , "acid break" and some other live tracks by the Prodigy which will never be released on an official release. Also the well known tracks "Nuclear" and "Trigger" will never see a official release. The cool thing about having those tracks is that you can here a song evolve to an album track when it's a jam track first. In that case I can see why you'd want to download. And that is something I try to do alot.



As for official releases, for you who can't wait, try to wait. Go for the anticipation, count down to that official release date. The album sounds a 1000 times better than when you put it on for the first time!!!!
