That is such a stereotype. Not all hackers sit in a room for hours and write codes. Some of us just take a couple of minutes to write a code to mess with your computer and don't you think you are taking this hacker thing a bit serious...I am personally not a hacker.Lol by no means ...jeez i am a technologically challenged person...i can't even write a code which would add 2 numbers. But my some of my friends are into that kindda stuff& i am cool with it

this thread started in the aftermath of the Ms.Blast virus that i got hit with(as millions others did) i dont like people that make viruses that just fuck things up for no reason. i mean if your gonna make the effort,make it count!!!!!! like the "codered" virus a couple years back that crashed 10 million computers in the u.s, made by the chinese. i mean that had a political point. not just random piss taking!!!!



if you wanna fuck with people,have a reason,or make a point! that all i want to say. i still think it is oretty anti-social though.





P.s chemical..........great sig!!!!!!! im thinking of making it an official club,with badges and cards etc.....sorta like the dennis the menace club........except for hating wayne coyne................ :?

btw: i like the club idea. We should all wear matching shirts and meet up on a tree house which would be our ghetto club and just write e-mails all day to wayne and hack into his computer and mess with his life ;-)

Hackers are generally pretty damn smart people. I can understand the political motives behind some of the hacking to make a statement (as horrible as it is because in the end, it's just a big mess that the peons have to clean up) and people like Kevin Mitnick who basically hacked to satisfy his intellectual curiosity and had no intention of using the info he had for any other purposes. He did not hack to take the piss, and he didn't hack w/malicious intent or to fuck up people's private property. It was the government that trumped up those charges in order to instill fear into the hearts of would-be hackers and people who think there's boogey-hackers ready to swipe every hard drive clean. On that note, though, I think most people who claim to be hackers do it just to take the piss. Seeing what crap my husband had to go through with his compnay being hit not once but twice, and seeing him put in 60+ hours of work last week because the hacking stalled production really pissed me right off. For the most part I view hacking like we've seen recently as a violation of private property. I don't look kindly to hacking computers with mal intent to stifle work production thereby making more work than necessary for a lot more people. To me, that kind of piss taking is no better than keying someone's car and smashing in it's windows.

yes,i think badges etc will have to be made. on a related note i got tgp promo a few days ago,have listened to it alot trying my hardest to like it but now i even think the beat the chems made is pretty shit. especially towards the end......its just sooooooo danm awful........such a shame. i will still be getting all copies and promos of the single and album as i am, at heart a collector and completest!
