I'd be all over an EP. From reading interviews, it sounds like they have a lot of material, like the creative tap has been flowing consistantly since they began work on Push The Button. Surely those ideas are a part of the Push The Button era but whether or not they want to share with us by way of an EP, or wait til work on a new album starts and they have the freedom to apply fresh ideas on top of what ideas they already have from this era - up to them.
I'd dig anything the Chems throw my way. I'm not hard to please when it comes to what they're willing to share and even though I always want more, I am very patient - would rather have a quality release over a rush job any day.
As far as Push The Button b-sides go, I think they've been quite strong. I really love Spring, but on the same token I love the sinister, dark funk of Giant. They are almost polar opposites in terms of setting a mood but they are, imo, equally exciting and fresh sounding. Rize up seems to be the least favorite on the boards (from what I gather anyway, or the least mentioned when talking about favorites) but I find that tune to be a grower - it's got a lot of great qualities and it's a great compliment to Galvanize. There's a lot of diversity in the b-sides, and I think they are relfective of Push The Button which I think is their most diverse album to date. All a matter of opinion of course.

my metaphorical money is on either 'Come Inside', or a double a-side of 'The Big Jump' and 'Surface to Air'....... followed by a pre-Christmas release of a 'Loops of Fury'-style ep containing a combination of new material and remixes of a few tracks from PTB.
