Digital Decks

Looking at the tracklist this mix first half hour is similar to the hotmix at Pete Tongs radio 1 show.
Never heard of Digital Decks. Discogs calls it a "UK made Japanese release". There are 4 releases others are by Tiga and Daft Punk and Digitalism:

DDCD01 isn't up there but that's the Digitalism mix album
Anyone knows more about these Digital Decks albums?

i'm pretty sure this cd is a bootleg although the quality is okay although it sounds like its seen a bit of compression technology. i remember when 'we are the night' came out there was a 1 hour mix on sirius radio in the US. i wonder if this is where the audio was sourced from. i know the digitalism digital decks cd is the same mix that went out on sirius radio.

Defined a little more formally, "escape velocity" is the initial speed required to go from an initial point in a gravitational potential field to infinity with a residual velocity of zero, with all speeds and velocities measured with respect to the field

PLUS Do you know where's the sample saying "It's the lifestyle we livin'" from? you can hear it on the facebook mix right after Vitalic
Also I think they used it on the 07/08 tour sometimes right after 'believe' into 'we are the night'.
You can hear it on the radio rip from live gig at electric proms.

@Sneaker, you mention the facebook mix which doesn't end with Saturate/EBW8. What is the last track and how long is that facebook mix? If it's 35 minutes this cd is 7 tracks longer.
I downloaded the mix 2 times. First time I got 84 MB and 35 minutes, second time I got 112 MB an 49 minutes. It doesn't end with EBW 8 and the last 13 minutes doesn't sound like tracks that the Chemical Brothers would mix
@Whirly, I'm curious which mix you have.

The mix I have is 48:59 long and starts out with these arcade game type sounds (I'm not geeky enough to trainspot them, nor am I cool enough to trainspot much of anything ) First few minutes are funky and around 3:25 No Need starts. The mix I have doesn't end with a Chems song. I got this mix from another forumer who was onboard with Facebook long before I was - so I didn't get mine originally from the source.
A tracklisting would be helpful.
Or maybe we'll be lucky and it might appear on mixroullette thingie later one. Nudge wink in the admin's general direction.

Apparently, this bootleg mentioned is a recording of the slightly lengthened mix they played on a Sirius radio station, with the addtion of Saturate/EBW8 (which has already been said).
So, as far as I can tell the bootleg is exactly the same, except with worse audio quality with a track that you probably have stuck on the end. Not really worth trying to find, IMO.
Of course, if it was like the difference between Anti-Nazi Mix and the Brothers Gonna Work It Out, then it might be worth it.
