this list isnt anywhere near the insane amount of email from the VMG list.

yes definitely EXPLODE, I subscribed to it on my yahoo account and like I would get a "You have a new email" like every 2 minutes

Don't worry, there's not near as much traffic on the other_nerds mailing list as there was on the old vmg dealie! I think the most mails I had in my inbox in recent memory was around the 25 mark. And it's not all about the Chems, either. ;)



Back in the chemicalvmg days, it wasn't unusual to have 40-60 mails per day in your inbox. And if there was a flame war going on, you could expect a lot more, the list really heated up. I think I logged on one day and there were something like 165 new mails - took me forever to go through all of them. The funniest thing, there was this guy who signed up on the list using his work's server. Well, the guy went on vacation for a couple of weeks and didn't bother to unsubscribe and all the mail he got fritzed out the server. I heard he got fired because of it - which may be true because I don't remember him having resubscribed. Ah, those were the days!
