oh i got removed as spam there, ill try this again.....
Greetings to you one and all!!
Im new to the chems forum and thought id start off by introducing myself to everyone. Well im from Ireland and have been a huge fan of the brothers for many, many moons ever since i had the mind melting experience of seeing them play live at the point back in '99. Anyway introductions aside this forum is a forum of discussion and discuss we shall. About three years ago me and a mate were in the pub discussing musical collaborations we'd like to see (as you do). I remeber saying id like to see 'Q-Tip' and 'Chemical Brothers' collaberate recalling q-tips excellent work with the beastie boys on ill communication. Low and behold a year later 'Galvanise' was released, cool or what?. So who would you like to see the chemical brothers work with? (dont kill me if this has been asked before , im new). You never know maybe Tom or Ed will see your post and the seed will be planted

Hello Cap'n Shamrock!! Welcome to our cozy corner of the universe. Sorry about what happened with your first post - this board was turned upside down for a while but things seem to be back on track. At least for now!
And just so you know, Tom and Ed do check the board. ;)
As far as collabs, yes it has been discussed a few times here. But it's always nice to see the topic make a re-appearance just for the sake of discussion if anything else. I'd like to see what they could do with the lovely vocals of Lisa Gerrard or Kim Frazier.

Welcome in captain, have a good stay!
I'd love to see a Waters collab with the Chems! :D
One of those sarcy Welcome To The Machine kinda vocal - I'm sure the combination could be really surreal and beautiful, but hell I'm dreamin agan!

Hey wincent, your guess is as good as ours as far as when we'll find out who the collab artists are. But I'm sure as soon as the news leaks out we'll be the first to know (or at least talk about it.)
It's nice to have a wish list of collaborating artists, there are definitely some I would be interested in hearing what the Chems could do with - but I'm looking forward to being pleasantly surprised just like last time. It's cool when the Chems have a guest vocalist come back to do a new song, but I love that the Chems chose to work with more obscure artists for Push The Button. Anna Lynn for Hold Tight London especially because that song is absolutely stunning, makes my heart go pitter patter, all that. Only a couple more months til we all get to hear... I can't wait!
