isnt it about time we had a new chemical brothers dj mix? been thinking about this for the past few days. maybe they will get a promo mix out soon, they normally appear just before every other album or so. but wouldn't it be great to have a full comercially available dj mix, come on guys it was 1998 since the last one.

it be just great to have a slice of the glint club classics. they certainly have alot of their own bootlegs kicking around for inclussion. i just dream about one day the special version of it began in afrika being released on a mix.

Yeah, a new mix album would be awesome! Imagine if it would get released a short bit after Chemical 6! It would certainly rock my socks! :D

I would like a mix album with the EXACT same set as NYE ;)

I can play it at home and go ape once more , and maybe actually remember the tunes. Yeah that would be nice!

But seriously - i like youre idea Sneaker. But first lets wait patiently for Chemical 6 , shall we ?! ;)

Would love to see a new mix in the works, esp. if it was a commercial, rather than promo, deal.

Something that reflects some of the classic cut-ups and influences as well as newer material like 'Erotic Discourse' or 'Mouth to Mouth'.

Yeah a new mix album would be great fantastic. It was mentioned back in June last year in m2f's "dJ dates" thread and other places.

I would love for new one to come out since I have only heard they're one and only commercial venture in mix albums. I would love to hear some of the booties if they don't release a new commercial one soon...

:D Of course, I'd be happier to wake up tomorrow on the day the new studio album releases

They have 2:

Brothers Gonna Work It Out

Live At The Social, Vol. 1 (this one's kinda rare, not super rare though)

though the live at the social one......I really like :D

I'm amazed that I found it when I did (in Japan in 2005). I had heard of it before but never actually seen a copy.

I really like it though for their mix of charlatans - nine acre dust.

A new mix on CD would be NICE!!! sure it wouldn't probably happen till well after the album...but would be nice after chemical 6.....by that time though are we going to be back on the rumor mill about another dvd (possibly live this time....though ed said they had no intention on doing one back last year)

I'd be up for another mix cd!

I wonder if they're into the idea, though - or if they've given it serious consideration since they've been moving onward and upward with their albums and obviously focusing more on that.

Since Brothers Gonna Work It Out came out in 1998, it would be a cool to hear where things have gone and where they stand 10 years later in 2008. It would be interesting to hear what they have to say about this...

if there comes a new mix cd, i think it has influences like ebw 7,8,9. and the mix album would sound more techno thats what i think

8O I completely forgot about that one! I should buy that sometime but its rather expensive on Amazon, which is about the only American site I've seen it on...

How is the Live At The Social? Is it completely different from the other? Recomend it?

it is the shit, pick it up.. pretty diff from BGWIO
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

Live at the Social is sweet, very hip-hop + techno. I like BGWIO better but LatS is definetly a worthwhile purchase. I recommend eBay, got the disc for under $10.
