Just saw 28 Days Later. It alone inspired similar emotional feelings of satisfaction and/or happiness to my three LSA trips... If you've not seen it, see it soon.

What a fucking great movie. In other news, I overdosed on dxm a little while back, had two emotional (?) breakdowns yesterday due to stress buildup pushed over the edge by my fucking father who I'm staying with for a couple of weeks whom I cannot stand, have found lots of great electronic music by myself and with you fools' help since I first posted here, and am getting a fucklot better at making music/am starting an electro duo similar to Zombie Nation, Justice, and Shpongle when I get back home.

In other words, I plan on posting here more often 'cause I'm fucking bored. Hello all.

Go for the gusto, man. Try not to let life get to you.

Anyone seen Lost Highway? Just saw it again the other day and it's still an absolutely fantastic film. That was actually the movie responsible for me getting really, really into film, like, more than a passing admiration for it.

Welcome back, xdankstahx!

28 Days Later is a great film. It's fucking tense. I'm not sure how it can inspire feelings of satisfaction or happiness - more like a bad trip - - but to each his own. Personally I needed a massage afterward, I was so tense, haha!

Take it for what it is but my advice if you're staying with the parental unit and under their roof is avoid drugs all together. Too much interference, too much going on and life's too short for emotional breakdowns. Keep busy - it keeps dad off your back. Once you're back on your own, you've got the freedom to be your own if you know what I mean.

Sorry for being all motherly there - I can, because I'm a mother. :P

Anyway, glad you are enjoying the tunes and and it sounds like you're being inspired to dive right into making tunes of your own! Nice!

Mothers knows best!

xdankstahx...Welcome to the Brotherhood!

And if you got tracks to upload, I have the time and the ear!

Yippie kiya Mother******!

Saw Die Hard couple of days ago, and it's been a few years since i viewed it. I especially enjoyed Alan Rickman (Severus Snape, another great role!) as the fashion-savy, radical Hans Gruber. I like when the battleram gets blasted on. Too many great scenes! And if it's the Holiday season, grab Diehard 2!

Ah, Die Hard... whenever any of the 4 DH films are on tv I can't resist. The cause of way too many late nights!

I'm a sucker for the Die Hard films. The first one is such a classic. I'm with you graysquire - whenever it's on TV I cannot resist either! It doesn't matter how far in the film is when I first I switch into the movie - 10 minutes, half hour, and hour. I'll watch it to the end. I have this theory that on any given weekend at any given time, Die Hard (or one of the Die Hards) is on tv.

I also have a soft spot for Alan Rickman. His voice always has a sneering twinge to it, but I enjoy listening to that man speak. Was he ever a good villian in Robin Hood - I was rootin for him, not for Kevin Costner!

Anyhow - I saw Taken and I enjoyed it. Liam Neeson was pretty bad ass. Luc Besson is a great writer and the pacing of this film was quite typical (in a good way) of him. I thought it was quite amusing that thegirl in the film originally went to Europe to go follow U2 around, haha.

@Whirly You're on crack. My soul soared when he killed that guy by pushing his thumbs into his eye sockets. It's hard to explain, I guess it's just a super happy ending for me...

And I'm only at my dad's for a couple weeks and am staying away from all substances while here; he just got out of prison and is on parole. When I get back to my house, I'm probably just going to smoke and sleep nonstop and listen to electro for about a week. Then I'm gonna find all my friends, start my two duos (one folk with my best female friend, one electro with my best male friend - they are siblings even), and smoke some more. Then I'm getting x, coke, and some more shit as soon as it's available to me. (My friend's buying lots of things soon...)

Forgive me. :/

Funny, I've been trying to avoid crack lately.

Your family situation seems quite sad. Hope you find some peace.

@xdankstahx: Try to keep in mind that there is a lot of growth and learning that we as human beings need to do; and while using certain substances can enhance and expand this growth, excessive or prolonged use can prohibit this growth.

What I'm trying to say is, I get the impression that you might want to rethink jumping back into using substances right off after a visit with your father. I understand it's probably extraordinarily difficult to cope with a fragmented, or even broken family structure, but it will be even harder if you let years slip by and let yourself stagnate psychologically.

I'm all for drug use when you're trying to expand your understanding of the world. But when you use drugs to deal with life, you can push yourself to a point where you become unable to deal with life without them.

Aggh...silly silly. I don't want to get back to what I love to cope or escape, I want to get back to it because I love it. One fuck-up with dxm happened, I'm no druggy. I just smoke a lot of weed and take whatever else is good and safe...I was under the impression dxm was safe. Now I know to do my homework.

And, whirly, as soon as I'm home, that's when I can "find peace"...I'm on good terms with mom, got great friends there, etc......

Thoroughly enjoyed Star Trek - good, quick pacing, a bit campy, nice eye candy and fantastic characterizations. Zachary Quinto was excellent as Spock. I'm not a big fan of Star Trek at all but did use to watch the show as a kid growing up and seeing this sort of makes me want to revisit the series just for old times' sake. I liked the time travel/parallel reality bit - It was used to tie in the old with the new while keeping the integrity of the classic story/history intact. My only problem with that is that more time could have actually been spent on that aspect of the film without being gratuitous or ruining the momentum of the film (plus Leonard Nimoy - classic!)

I've seen all the other Star Trek films (3 of which I've seen in the theaters when released originally). And this new one was far, far more engaging than the other cinematic Star Trek attempts which were appealing if you were a fan of the series. What's nice about this new Star Trek is you don't have to be a fan of the series to enjoy the film. If anything it's a good introduction to an otherwise solid series which had grown a bit tired and convoluted over the years... Saw this with my husband's step dad who tagged along and he 's a borderline Trekkie as it is, and he thought the film was fantastic.

Popcorn fun way to spend a nice Sunday afternoon.

28 Days Later is epic, 28 Weeks Later is a waste of time.

Just back from Transformers 2, it was fantastic! Obviously when you go into see it, you're going in knowing it's a Michael Bay film and not something by *insert arty Director*. EPIC DESTRUCTION! never seen so many things get blown up, and I love robots. It diverts your attention away from the average plot :D

I thought 28 Weeks Later wasn't as bad as many other sequels I've seen, but I was disappointed, indeed. The moments it had weren't redeeming, but the moments it had were at least pretty good.

It wasn't made by Boyle so it's not a true sequel

But it was -partially- made by Boyle, so it's a slightly true sequel.

Saw it last night on the IMAX. I thought it was a fair flick! It was much better than the last one. The fight sequences were much more viewable cause the camera angle was a little more further back, allowing the viewers to see the movements of the robots much better, whereas some segments had that closeup where 2 robots are so close to each other that you can't tell if there punching or kicking.

Plenty of cheese was found in the film of course. I'll have fun editing the hell out of it soon as I get a better quality vid.

Tyrese was pointless! That money could of been used for a Dinobot!
