Well here's an app that might just encourage you to drive like a lunatic, just to see what happens...

More music (probably won't make it on to the the next Underworld hits compilation)

THIS. IS. SO. COOL!

I love it when Underworld goes experimental, some of their best music is virtually unheard of, tucked away on b-sides or projects like these. That song featured in the commercial is some radically updated version of Swing Up High, a one off sort of demo they put out on their site around... 2008 I think.

The amount of effort put into that project just to make something like that sound genuinely musical, and not wildly experimental must've really been something. And the amount of connection with the feel of driving - and racing - is brilliant, especially the way the beats fade out once it goes over around 100mph. I've certainly never gone that fast in a car (yet) but using my experience in Wipeout, that really captures the rush of travelling at extreme speeds, instead of just maxing out the beats and throwing more into the mix. It's a simple idea but effective. Seriously mad props to everyone involved.

This old man,
he play beats,
He don't need no music sheets,
but with a snip-snip-snippy-snip
gave his mop a chop,
Old man hairstyles are a flop.
