Yeah 2010 I reckon aswell. The past 2 years have been hectic, so I cant see any live shows for a little while. I doubt there doing anything NYE either, I expect a quiet 2009 except a few dj sets and maybe an EBW.

NYE im either going to go sking or running my night.

Prediction: Chems @ Coachella 2009! (DJ mix)

NYE! I forgo NY and now prefer to stay in my local surroundings or Vegas. The question remains is what club, what concert, who's going, etc!

I dream of the day when the Chems come back to Coachella. Either a live show or a DJ set - it doesn't matter. I've never missed them at Coachella, and I've never been to a Coachllea when the Chems weren't playing. They *are* what makes Coachella for me.

If they do come next year, I'm camping baby!

Fuck that! I'm too old for festival camping, hehe. I'm getting a cheap-o hotel room like the last times I went (if I can even book a room). I love camping n'all, but after a hot day in the sun tramping around all that dirt, a girl needs a hot shower, a soft bed and a/c!

Ah, Whirls, I feel ya on needing the comforts of home. I can still go no frills, for sure, but my druthers grab me a nice hotel room with a clean shower.

I don't even want to speculate on who will be at Coachella next year. But at least I can say with certainty that I won't have huge and utter fucking disappointment after finding out that the Chems won't be there. We already know they're not going to go. Although, who knows, maybe a DJ set...

Crappy London for me - hated it last year!! Such an anti climax, anyone know anywhere cheap and easy?

Ahhhhh....dreams of another chems set in cali.....this time actually at coachella. wait.....

I have a practicum in april/may/june next year. AWWW MAN!!!! that sucks. Festival camping is fun. But I'm getting in the same boat as whirls as of late. I've done it too many times and starting to find it uncomfortable.

The one time the Chems did a DJ set at Coachella, they closed the Sahara tent. They played after Fatboy so it was really cool to see Norman do his thang, then watch him turn over the decks to Tom and Ed. It was the first time I heard It Began In Afrika... you should've seen Tom and Ed's eyes scanning the crowd looking to see the response!! It was a great gig, but we were all so freaking tired because it was the last gig of the evening and it was blistering hot (over 100 degrees) all day. It was exhausting, their sets demand your undivided attention and the heat inside that tent was suffocating. I literally felt like I'd been hit over the head with with a ton of bricks by the time their set ended. All in the experience, though. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Hmmm... I hadn't even thought about NYE. I have access to funding this time around. Probably going to save it for the spring as a graduation present to myself to hit foreign dancefloors but we'll see.
