Whirly, I'm bringing up the crossover aspect you mentioned. Back last spring when working sunday mornings at HMV I threw in the bside disc of there their law compliation album. My supervisor at the the time was a huge metal fan, which I will never understand. Anywho, throwing it on he came up to me and started saying that this was familiar and he finally clued in that it was prodigy. We talked about them for a little while before opening while doing stock. He talked mainly about how they were the only electronic act that he could get into due to there similarites with metal. This also included the Pendulum remix of Voodoo people where we mashed out in the middle of the empty store.

I also got an teenage emo employee hooked on them just as I was leaving. He was already starting to head the more electronic route with old DFA 1979 stuff and Mindless Self Indulgence (He got me back into old Atari Teenage Riot stuff).

Also, I enjoyed the Back to mine that he put out back in 06. That got me listening to old Straglers stuff and *gasp* heaven forbid.....Dolly Parton!!! It was nice to see an influence album from him.

That's really cool about your supervisor. Whatever gets his rocks off musically, you gotta hand it to him he's got an open mind as he's hearing similarities between one type of music and the next. Same with the emo kid.

Great band, still love them since 1992 (G-Force was the first track I heard)

Leeroy was a dancer who played the keyboards when the played 'Rock 'n roll' live during the mid 90's. Liam played the drums in that track.
