I wrote about this in the FTP guide, it's confusing. This is what I can tell: the one on Wipeout XL is actually the rare first version that only appeared on a limited number of MMEPs, and the "non-Wipeout" one is the second version that replaced it. I have heard way more people (online) say they have a copy with the non-Wipeout version on it and I have heard of very few people who have a copy with the Wipeout version.
I semi-chatted with a guy who has both copies (commenting on the non-Wipeout version):

I regret to inform all of you that this is not the rare version of this song. I know because I have both copies of this song on vinyl, and a bunch of DJs I know also have the version posted here, so it is not rare. I am the only person I know who has a copy of the other one.

Actually, this one posted here is the rare version: Wipeout XL has the other version and it sold over 400,000 copies, and the Chems used to play the other version live in 95-96. Since that XL version is so widespread I've always assumed that it was the one that replaced this version on the vinyl release. But you're the one with evidence. It just seems weird that they would play live and use the version of a song that they replaced originally.

Yeah, that is strange. I have another DJ friend who has 3 copies of this version, but can't find the other one at all. He still bugs me about it.
So the first version was the Wipeout one and the second version was the "non-Wipeout" one, but since the first version played live in 95-96 and was on Wipeout, it's way more common even though it was only on a few early pressings.
And I
think the old discography pdf said there's 75 early pressings, not 50. Wikipedia might be wrong.
