i can't believe the hmv in burton did not have galvanise ready for 9am. you would expect a store like this to have things ready for when the doors open wouldn't you. i thought stores get their products the weekend before so they can prepare space and the like. woolworths had only cd1 which had torn up stickers on it like cd's that have been in the sale rack for months. and music zone dosen't sell vinyl. Burton is so crap, i was purposely late for college so i could be at hmv on time... just waiting for hmv to ring me back to say they have them ready. i wish i had fucked off to brum (the coloquial for birmingham) now. I'm in london on friday so might beg the manager of the hmv's there to give me any promotional stuff they might have.

another insult to my day is that even if i do get my goods today, i can't go home tonight straight away to listen to them straight away as there are people coming to my house that i don't like, so i have to stay away.



last point: there is a girl who is typing really loud and fast next to me who is really fucking me off. grrrrrrr :x

well i had to wait till lunhtime on friday for hmv to have all of them. the cds and vinyl were layed out beside each other so handy to buy the set.

My store didn't get any imports of Galvanize (even though they've gotten imports of Golden Path and Get Yourself High, to name a couple.)



I will just have to wait.



Also, sometimes the shipping lags big time. It's like the vendors take their own sweet time getting stuff to us, and it makes the stores look bad. I can't tell you how many times there's been a new release, and come Thursday, we're still waiting for a shipment. Super annoying!

sometimes my local shops get us versions but very not often. saw cheap price for imported ptb japanese version on ebay if anyone's interested

And all the best sellers for electronica over here are Paul Oakenfold and crap like that. I havent seen the Golden Path or Get Yourself High at any HMV yet. I suppose the HMV's over in Europe have better selections?

in germany, we do not have HMV, we have WOM instead. WOM is the last crap - they sell ALL CDs or records 20% more expensive than all other stores. who needs such a record store?

HMV.co.uk seems to be getting better than it used to, I pre-ordered Galvanize a few weeks back, all three formats for �7 + �1 postage. They arrrived on my doorstep early this morning. Not bad
