THE GALLERY

Friday 15th September

Room 1:

Marco V (2 Hour Set), Nick Warren, Anthony Pappa, The Viceroy, Kasey Lee Jones

Room 2: Hosted by Solid Kiss

Marco V (2 Hour Set), Moni , + Special Guests

Room 3: Hosted by Kinetec Records

Marco V (2 Hour Set), Dave Randall, Thermobee, James Kinetec , Macloud

Marco V has always been a special DJ for us at The Gallery? but on Friday 15th September we take the term ?special guest? to a whole new level as the Dutch Destroyer will play a 2 Hour Set in each of the 3 rooms on offer at Turnmills? one straight after the other!!!

Never before has anything like this been done at the club, but then again it would all be rather boring if everything remained the same wouldn?t it?! The World?s Top 20 DJ will be in the UK for this exclusive London appearance as part of his Combi Nations Tour ? a brand new compilation concept brought to live with a bang by Marco V to represent the diversity of his musical style.

And so to clarify exactly how this is all going to work, here?s the plan? 1) warming the cockles, Marco will begin his dancefloor assault in T2 where he?ll play from midnight until 2am, armed only with the finest tech-house cuts. 2) from there, it?s a fast walk down the corridor to T3 - where he?ll take to the stage ready for his one-off live show from 2-4am. 3) and finally, Marco will head straight for the main room (via the bar for a quick drink!), where he?ll be ready to fire it up from 4-6am - proper Marco V main room style!!

Obviously Marco will need a few friends to help him out along the way, where starting in the main room former prog-god Anthony Pappa will be keeping the floor busy from midnight as he cranks up the bass. The Gallery?s Hope Recordings resident Nick Warren will then takeover at 2am, adding his own golden touch to the night?s festivities, whilst Gallery resident Gavyn Mytchel picks up the DJ baton from Marco V from 6am to see the night off in style. The Viking Princess, Moni will be hosting the T2 room with special guests on the night, taking over from Marco after his first set. Expect only phattest electronic beats from this lot! Meanwhile, before and after Marco?s live show in T3, the Kinetec Records crew will be in the house to rinse out some techno tunage, with guests Dave Randall, Thermobee, James Kinetec and Macloud showing us the way.

Hubba hubba? this one could get messy!!

Marco V

Marco V is a one of the world's most respected dj/ producers commanding adoration from across the globe. Whether it's his loyal base of fans or the dance music elite; many regard him as a musical genius. The Dutch artist has twice been voted 16th Best DJ in the World's Top 100 DJ Mag poll and it's no wonder. He possesses all the qualities of a genius artist. Outstanding technical prowess behind the decks, an enviable production repertoire; oodles of creativity and an infectious passion and charisma which have seen him captivate crowds across the 5 continents. From Gatecrasher and Cream Amnesia to Dance Valley and Homelands, Marco's graced nearly every A-List event the global stage has to offer.

2006 has already spawned the launch of his phenomenal artist album, 200V firmly cementing his reputation as a spectacularly consistent and versatile music maker. This followed swiftly from the release of his single "False Light". Not only did the techno tinged track garner global acclaim from every big name DJ on the planet and clubbers alike; but it's nuzzled its way on to Radio 1's 'daytime 'playlist - a feat only a very few dance producers have achieved; and a testament to the Dutch producer's brilliance.

200V came hot on the heels of a flurry of 2005 releases successes. 'More than a Life Away' topped dance charts around the world and "Second Bite" became a favorite for many. Waiting in the wings for 2006 releases are the groovy tech trancer "Arpanet" and 'Red Blue Purple" which borrows its vibe from rock. Both are already creating a massive ripple throughout the territories; and poised to dominate our dancefloors throughout the summer. These recent achievements come after Marco had already stamped his authority on the music scene with his remix of Energy 52's classic. 'Caf Del Mar'. 'Godd', 'In Charge' and 'Simulated' quickly followed capturing a unique bass driven sound which gained widespread appeal to lovers of all kinds of dance genres. This became known as 'The V Sound'; something others have tried to emulate, but without success. These tracks paved the way for Marco's first album 'Con:Fusion' which became Holland's biggest selling dance album of 2002 before being awarded Best Dance Artist Album at the BBM dance awards later that year. In 2003 he released the compelling 'Loops and Tings' remix as well the outstanding tough edged electro track 'Automanual' which was so popular it got reviewed by every dance magazine twice.

In 2004 Marco charmed his fans once more with his unique mix album Combi:nations. This reached DJ Mag's mixed compilation Top 10 for 2004; and is all set for a hotly anticipated follow-up later this year (2006). With a international DJing schedule which looks like the departure board at London's Heathrow; a veritable heap of first class releases in the pipeline and the growth of his record label 'In Charge' 2006 looks like it's going to be Marco's brightest and busiest yet.

The Gallery has consistently pushed the musical envelope over the years and celebrated its 11th Anniversary in traditional style in April 2006. There quite simply isnt another club like The Gallery in London, where home-grown talent like Tall Paul, Sister Bliss, Fergie, Nic Fanciulli, Gavyn Mytchel and Lottie has been nurtured alongside overseas heroes like Timo Maas, Sander Kleinenberg, Benny Benassi and Gabriel & Dresden - who all made their UK debuts at the club. The Gallery also remains the only club in London where youll hear all the big-hitters like Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Tiesto or Paul Oakenfold in action and with tours nights popping up all around the UK (Leeds, Liverpool & Brighton), The Gallery continues to set the standards for all others to follow.
