I need a new copy of My Mercury Mouth as mine suffered through an unfortunate evening at a club. Actually here is a list of stuff I want.

the promo of the kylie tune is a heavy weight 12" in solid yellow, not transparent :geek:

Yep, the transparant yellow is a bootleg with a less quality track.

just cos someone paid 100 dollars for a record, it doesnt make it worth a 100 dollars. its laughable that hard to find records have the balls to charge that much for something that has little value. its even more funny that they found someone mug enough to buy it! i think the true value is nearer £10 absolute tops.

Pretty close, but I found one for £14!

I think the value of a record doesn't just comes down to price, demand, rarity, or the condition of it, I think it's also that unkown attachement or the way that record evokes an emotional feeling to the listener when played (kind of like the feeling when I hear K+D+B). It's hard to resist the temptation of paying top dollar for a record because you finally found it and you need that personal gratification immediately.

The most I ever paid for a record I think was probably 50 something bucks ( KRS-One Record)

I'll spend my 100 on my Chemical Brothers Ultimate Discography Box set with all B-sides and 20 unreleased tracks with tshirt, stickers, 2 hour live DVD, and a Tom and Ed collectors edition figurine. (Num. 005)

Hello, just wondered if anybody could confirm these as being genuine promo cd's from america or just some copy, bootleg version. There's 2 on sale on ebay at the moment that caught my eye.

Yeah, they're real. I own the first one and have seen the other two, the singles promo from astralwerks was in a jewel case. There are a few more single promos like that, especially for surrender era singles, search up eil.com and you'll see!
