Last year at homelands there were so many yoing kids and i mean young (6) with parents, the ticket didnt have an age on it. To be honest at night at homelands i think it wud be easy to jump the fence, all u need 2 do its run down the side of the bowl fast and avoid the dogs, i saw it done.
Didnt make much of the groove armada forum, saying that i dnt think there all that good, in soton they were shite live, but think there good djs.
Talking of other forums, i joined the Prodigy one and most of them are up there own backsides moaning about people posting in the wrong place. Yeah you go do get alot of crap posts on this forum but its nice only have 2 main ones, saves looking over the place. The vote option is cool on Prod forum.

i seriously suggest u retract that statement, now.
i have friends in high places who can do tings to you you didnt even know could be done with ur anatomy.
that was the first ever live event i had been to, i meen like with a proffesional band.
Brixton in december was better tho i must add.
Groove Armada are brilliant Djs aswell, not nesecerily for there mixing but for their music choice. All the compilations are phenominal.
the site, i agree, its quite rubbish, i am the only 'ardcore fan of theirs who checks daily for posts, i seem to be the only one with any real knowledge of the band and its quite sad really, i've only been alive 16 years and know more than most people about them. Its nice when i get p.m.'s asking questions tho :)
worst thing, they are spliting up :'( but their solo work continues, and is very good indeed.

Must say i really didnt enjoy that gig. I have very high expectations after seeing the Chems, FBS on brighton Beach and Underworld prior to that and came out wanting my money back. There visuals are poor compared to the chems, the music isnt half as good, and i dnt think it was techically as good in the way they play live. I think some stuff of lovebox is good, but it terms of dance music its not great live. Saying all that i thought they did play a couple of good tracks from vertigo. Dirty Vegas were good support. Groove Armada i feel are a nice band who make nice music. But live they dnt do anything. Dont like the DVD they did its again an average performance and at glasto they were also average.
Only seen them dj once at homelands and they played some good stuff and after listening to a few dj sets by them i feel they are better as djs than as a live band.
Didnt know they were splitting, its a shame but hopefully they will change direction to something more funky house.

this is Andy and Jools Butterfields label, whith releases from Andy under the name 'Duji' Tom under the name 'Sweet Left Peg' and with Tim Hutton (vocals on Tuning in (Re Written)) as Suager Daddy, and best of all, Groove Armadas bass player, Jonathan White under the name Gecko with a debut album out in january :D
i see what you meen about G-A compared to others, ive not seen the chems (yet) or Underworld so i cant really compare but i know what BBB was like, having said that, his set at the Bestival didnt blow me away like Groove Armada did. we'll see what the chems have to show me in may X-D
dyu think theres any chance of out of control being played? the drop after the breakdown gets me tingaling everytime, a sure sign of a quality track!

I was a Bestival and it was a really cool event. FBS was ok but not great, the Jaxx were so good. The seven nation army remix they playis lush and there opening track is cool. I spoke to Rob Da Bank and asked him2 book chems for next year, hopefully he takes notice. Prefere Jaxx to Armada live.

the white stripes bootleg is fucking awsum, they should really release it cos i can only find the individual parts like switch tracks n banana krew - automatic.
i saw rdb but never spoke to him, he was with lots of big people and it was quite scary :-//
i spoke to norman tho, hes such a nice bloke!!
i also got recognized walkin around. some blokes go 'oi mate, you liquidfunk' i was like 'yer, i am actually X-D '
dont spose you caught ceux qui marchent debout did you? they were a french, sorta, i duno, funk band on before fatboym they were my favourite artist then, despite the 45 minute set up!

its in the matterly bowl. If you come off the winchester round about in the direction of alton/alresford, you will see the cues. the gates are on the other side of the road in the first dip after the round about. the actuall tentx are situated in the huage bowl shaped crater thang over the hill.
im not good with names or anything and ive not actaully been so to make sure id get a second opinion.
