Well it doesnt look like were gonna get a Newcastle Academy gig like we had for the PTB tour. Shame really as after London it was probably the quickest to sell out that time. This year been to London twice and now looks like Liverpool is the only alternative as in Glasgow all standing has sold out and im afraid sitting down is not an option. Glasgow was fucking amazing night out as well last time on PTB tour. This tour setup has been a real dissapointment this year, I mean 3 concerts in 4 days but all in the north west. Manchester, Birmingham and Liverpool. And of course the usual residency at Brixton for the cockneys. Come on Lads Britain is a big country. And before someone starts to give me grief about travelling and putting up with it, I live in Middlesbrough and going to the gigs always involves hotels, travel and booze. It mounts up you know. And im a postman and basically I work all of December.

I can sympathise... seen them 4 times so far (total distance travelled about 2,500 miles, but well worth it), and none in the home town of Glasgow, so this makes a pleasant change - a short taxi home.

If you do make it up to Glasgow, let me know and we can have a meet up beforehand.

I agree Graysquire1969 Glasgow was awesome last time, a blinding night out. But no standing tkts left is a disaster. Anyway just found out ive got a slim chance ill get to the Ricky Hatton fight so all this may be totally irrelevant. Its not the travelling thats the main sticking point its the timing of the dates that is my main gripe, I know im being selfish but its as simple as this if I take any time off in December I will lose my job. Also money is tight, going to IcelandAirwaves festival in Reykjavik in 3 weeks and then 4 weeks after that im off to Tokyo, and im a postman so no doubt ill be striking!!! But I think I have a point about the location of the shows. Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham, thats pretty bunched up especially as the Birmingham gig is at the NIA thats a big venue to sell out. By the way Acidchildren are you trying to say you went to Bestival?
