i was listenin to the bbc breezeblock session with the chems. the first song was called studio k, (so the dj said neway), it sounds like the second half of the sunshine underground, but it didnt have any of those great melodies on it. This interview was done around the time that surrender was bein released. I was thinking that it was the workin name for the sunshine underground, but they mention TSU later in the interview, so does anyone know any more info on this track?

You said it well, it's TSU without most of the melody lines. :)

it's on the hey boy hey gril single which I have.
Studio K is to The Sunshine Underground what Electronic Battle Weapon 6 is to Hoops.
Not sure I agree with that, EBW6 has loads of new stuff in it, whereas Studio is a more cut-down, minimal version of The Sunshine Underground. It's more to the point, it's not the same, not the best, but listenable.

yeah right. ;) I really like studio k, it's more minimal than EBW6 but I like all the sounds in this track.
