Hehe Gentlemen, two days left. Ready to party ? Can't stop kissing my ticket. 8)

By the way, never been to a chems gig before... how long does it last ? Well, forget it, we won't manage to catch the last train anyway. I guess we'll have to spend the night dancing heh.

See ya around guys. }:-)

Pour rpondre a ta question, a devrait durer 1h30 2h, comme a peu prs tous leurs concerts, mais la je crois qu'il y a pas de premire partie donc peut-tre qu'on aura une surprise...

I'm just back from seeing them. I Have only one word to say : AMAZING !

I was on the first rank, only 4 meters from Tom & Ed, and not more from the speakers. The Setlist was nearly the same as what i saw at Rock en Seine, except that some tracks were different, the visuals were nearly different for some tracks, but more important : there was tracks from the new album inside !

Tomorrow Never Knows

Hey Boy Hey Girl

Get Yourself High

The Big Jump

Galvanize

Music Response

Block Rocking Beats

Song to the Siren

Come Inside

Under the Influence

It Doesn't Matter

Out of Control

Temptation w/ Star Guitar

Surface to Air

Hoops

Believe (what a slap!)

Acid Children (double slap!!)

The Golden Path (note : Setting Sun disapeared from the set)

Elektrobank

Hold Tight London (I really loved this live version)

The Private Psychedelic Reel

This was the best two hours of my life. I shouted so loud that i got pain in my throat. It was amazing to see Ed dancing and coming really close to the public. We could almost touch him ! The Warm Up was good too, but a little bit too long (he played more than 2 hours...).I don't know the name of the DJ who played but i liked his stuff. The audience highly reacted when he played the new Daft Punk.

I just have onething to say to the people who are gonna see them soon : Behold ! they are coming back

Right on, Ben_j!! Now that's what I love to read.

I can't imagine how Hold Tight London would sound live. Well, actually I could. I get goosebumps just thinking about what it might sound like!

Thanx for the setlist Ben_j, but are you sure they played 'hold tight london', because that setlist is exactly the same as from the australian tour and they always played 'got glint' before 'TPPR'.

It's not that I don't believe you, its just that that song is too slow and mellow with a lot of lyrics to be included in the live set.

BTW, if it realy was 'hold tight london', what was the crowd reaction? Was is just the melody withouth the lyrics, short or long?

I wouldn't be surprised if the Chems threw in some Hold Tight London elements into their set.

Maybe they've cleverly mixed in some of those sounds into Got Glint? somehow.

Their last live gig I saw had a lot of elements from songs thrown into the mix. Especially during intros and outtros. It was very cool how they did this because you were in the crowd thinking, "oh, they're gonna play this song" - then those sounds would mesh into other sounds from other songs, and what ended up being played was something completely unexpected and different! Kept us all on our toes!

Yeah, I was there too.

The DJ was James Holroyd, 3 years ago he has been shouted to go, last night he had a better feeling with the audience.

They do play HOLD TIGHT LONDON. Really. The videos on the screen where castle's schemes, and then videos of castle.

They did not play BELIEVE, they played SURFACE TO AIR.

But they played BELIEVE, it was fucking amazing. If I remember well, it was an instrumental version, with some choirs of the girl. Pretty long, but maybe I say that because after more than half an hour of the show, I was exhausted. Yeah, so the song was long, not as explosive as it could be, but nice with weird sounds.

Great show, it lasted 1h50. I'm exhausted.

R.I.P., my hears...

Hey there!

I'm new but I have been lurking for months }:-)

Just to clarify things:

They did play Hold Tight London. Not just elements of the songs, but the song itself. It was the opening of the encore. They just added a few extra beats to it so that it was danceable, and man it WAS! It lasted about 6-7 mins, and the visuals on the giant screens were pictures on London (how surprising!), aerial views of the citiy, shots of different fountains (they filmed the fountains while walking around them and sped up the play speed so that it looked wicked).

Believe was played as well. The intro was deafening, with those big bass loops coming on.. And maps of cathedrals displayed in a stroboscopic effect on the screens.

Thanks! ;)

I'm really happy they played HTL. It's my favourite off PTB and they played it right before TPPR which is my favourite Chems track.. That was too much for me to handle.. I thought I was about to faint :D

No, they didn't play Life Is Sweet either..

I was 'disappointed' that they didn't play Setting Sun, but I won't complain too much! :P I was so happy to be there. My first Chems gig!
