I agree with whirlygirl about Michael Jackson.
Anyway, I boycotted the Brits this year because the Sugababes won the dance award last year (when the Chems were nominated), although from what I heard it just sounded like just one big kareoke contest. I can't help thinking that the only point of the ceremony is to boost TV viewing figures.

Gundhi Escribi:
Don't forget about spectaculair light on stage.
And the video-walls.
With those great figures just moving to the only sounds that is heard.
And that only sound is the clicking of some buttons and the turning on some knobs.
And offcourse Tom and Ed clapping at the end of the show.
To thank the audience for the great response.
Sorry for bumping this thread but I saw something and was reminded of the MTV Unplugged conversation we had a while ago:
Someone stole our idea and put it on Somethingawful.com (but used the Crystal Method instead)!!!

Yes, I am that bored.

Ghundi, you're so gullible! ;)
It was a photoshop job sent in to somethingawful.com. There were a lot of other fake record covers in yesterday's section of Comedy Goldmine, some of which were absolutely hilarious like the Baja Men record titled "our own works" and a James Taylor does Spiritualized.
I still think it would be weird for Tom and Ed to do an acoustic/unplugged set. It would just be so out of the realm in which I am familiar with, but you never know, they may go acoustic with age! One thing at a time, it was only a few short months ago that Tom played guitar live!

@ Whirly: I believe that that's a good thing. ;-)
I would like to see the chemical brothers acoustic one day.
But as Whirly said it is only since the MTV-awards that Tom played guitar on stage.
But ok it should be possible for them to organize such a acoustic session.
There only should be a few hardcore fans to see such a gig.
So they'll only invite us (from this forum).
