"O'Brien is thirty-nine and recently married his longtime girlfriend; in lieu of a bachelor party, he went camping in the remote English moorland with Yorke, former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr and the Chemical Brothers." http://www.rollingst..._to_radiohead/5

Now that sounds like a camping experience! The greatest musical minds around a campfire. My camping experiences mainly revolve around me puking and rubbing doughnuts on my face.

I bet you Tom and Ed still had the best food out there in the middle of nowhere. They also get the best food elsewhere. Knowing Yorkes lyrics, he must have sme twisted campfire stories.

that's pretty cool. didn't know they was close.

He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

hahaha, would be fun to have some brews and sit around the campfire with good ol Tom and Ed.

Me and the fam are planning on going camping out in Joshua Tree again in April or May sometime. It's so beautiful, it's a special place we enjoy going to. Last time we went camping out there, we found this wicked spot to camp at right in the park next to these monumental rock formations. When the sun was going down, the golden light lit up the rocks turning them into great slabs of brilliant copper. On our campsite, there was this big rock you could easily scramble to the top of, so we brought our little boombox and played We Are The Night again and again from our desert perch, watching the shooting stars streak across the sky. It was perfect.

Can't wait to do that again.

I think it's an exclusive sample clearance come-together in a smooth atmosphere.

Whirly, Joshua Tree looks amazing acutally on pics. I can imagine it to be a nice place to camp. I love those landscapes.

hehehe, yeah, iggy - I heard about the demise of "the" Joshua Tree. Which begs the question, if a Joshua Tree falls, does a hardcore U2 fan make a weeping sound?

Csar, Joshua Tree National Park is an amazing place to visit. There are different landscapes throughout the park, though my favorite area is called The Wonderland of Rocks. We camped right around that area last time. It's fun to go scrambling or if you're more limber, you can go rock climbing or repelling. We also saw a desert tortoise which was neat, because they're rarely seen. Wildlife is pretty cool - we got followed by a jack rabbit when we went hiking once. The only thing is there's ideal peak times to go, otherwise it's just too damn cold or too damn hot.

Yeah, I wanna see Joshua Tree National Park too. There is a lot of bizarre/interesting stuff around Riverside County from what I've read and I've seen in pictures. Still would like to see the Salton Sea with all the eroding buildings and wildlife. Gotta make sure I take more time off next time I'm in that area, so I can get out see those places (cant this year :( .)
