Half life, Deus ex and ico.
I don't know if this can be classed as a game but music 3000 for the ps2 is amazing, it's like a virtual recording stduio on a disc, you can even buy a USB sampler so you can create your own authentic riffs. I reccomend it as a lighter less serious approach and cheaper way of making really good music. The outcome can be fantastic and it's capabilities as a piece of music making software are fantastic.
sorry for such a long post but it's amazing, i did'nt expect it to be as advanced as it is. Highly recommended.

Final Fantasy 7.
When it first came out on the PS i was hooked.
Same here! FF8 is also absolutely fantastic.
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

What ever floats your boat really aint it i've used some really cheap software in the past there's nowt wrong with it as long as it does what you want and you have fun. If anyone want's a full on recording package with soft synths and effects for free just get yourself a copy of computermusic mag ok a fiver it's on the cd every month :)

FF8 was alright, not enough action in that one.
Disagreement here. :)

I like first person shooter games, they're a great stress reliever. ;)
I liked Quake I and II, Quake III was really cool, a bit twitchy but nice to look at but I can't stand online gaming.
Also like Unreal, good eye candy. Battlefield 1942 is good stuff as well.
I haven't played very much at all in the last couple of years, I guess I'm holding out for Doom III. Now that's going to be incredible. The next challenge will be divving up computer time between my husband and myself - he's the true gamer geek so he gets first dibs.
As for old video games, if I see Pac Man or Ms. Pac Man I have to go around fishing for quarters so I can play. Oh, and Centipede, too.
