I was forced to see Jack Johnson this past weekend.
Frantically, I was searching the ground for a shotgun halfway through his set. Unfortunately, there was no device of self-destruction to be found.
But DAMN--it brought out so many well-tailored white girls.
::sigh:: Gotta get my mojo back.

Saw Massive Attack 2 days ago.
They were amazing, not too energetic, but that was expected. Maybe a bit too much politics included in this tour, they are right about all of the things they preach, but common, you're artists, not politicians. Leave politics to the stupid.

The eternal question. It depends on how the artist handles the stuff. MA does a very sweet and subtle mixture of music and politics. But when I saw them time ago, audience was so stoned that, well, I thought all the preaching thing was very sterile .
bTW, legend Patti Smith playing at Madrid with an epic outfit.
