very sad day
obviously done to coincide with the g8 summit. its sad to see london being hit by terrorist attacks again. i can guess who's behind these attacks, they are so callous cos they target the ordinary person on the street. after yesterdays jubilation with the olympics, we are brought down to despair.

Yeah i dont think it has anything to do with the olympics but its just such a downer after a great day yesterday. I just heard on the news that in the east they are already talking about Al Qaida ( However you write it ) behing behind those attacks...But Tony Blair just spoke of " A Serie of terroristic attacks " , he seemed very shocked about it all.

:( Yeah shit I hope everyone is ok. I heard there's been bad injuries and deaths. :'(
I just heard from my brother and sister-in-law, they are safe thankfully. The worst my brother has to face is how to get home from his work on Oxford St, but that's nothing compared to what other's are suffering through.
This shit has to stop happening. There's got to be a solution!

Sometimes..?!
What also conserns ( ? ) me , is that everybody ( also experts! ) think it's not gonna stop here. A lot of people already kind off expected these attacks in London , but not only in London , also in Paris and also Amsterdam. I know it's bad to think this way , but i fly a lot and i wouldn't be suprised if they would get Amsterdam Airport...something that already has been predicted by some experts. It just makes you afraid that it happends so close , it really makes you realize like " Shit , what if it happends here and i or my loved ones are in the subway " or whatever...
I really do hope non of us is hurt or has somebody close thats hurt...my heart goes out to Brittian.

Fuck, I can't get those pictures of the bus with the roof blown off out of my head. It's hard to get a scope of exactly what happened and where, it's all so disorienting you know, I keep seeing these emergency workers running around and keep seeing injured people, these horrible images over and over. The news feed I'm seeing here is just the beginning. I feel sick. It just pains me that this happened in such a beautiful city, my favorite city.
The blast radius has far reaching effects.
Today we are all Londoners. Hold tight, and stay strong. The world is with you.

I don't know what to say, really.
The world is changing. Sadly, catching the perpetrators will not end it, because there will be more to take their place. An array of social, political, religious and economic forces have mistakenly led some people to believe that wanton violence such as this is the answer. Until the inequalities of this world and the gap between rich and poor, North and South, are closed, there will always, ALWAYS be more willing to kill to fulfill their agenda. It is ironic, however, that the G8 summit was specifically focussed on remedying the situation in at least one part of the world.
There is no excuse for this, however. There may be many root causes, but there are no excuses, nor any acceptable reasons.
Now London knows what Baghdad knows.

Secret Service's of many country's made a list of wich country's they think are most ehm..terrorist -sensetive.I dont know if i explain it right but....
On one was Spain...and yes , last year Madrid.
One two was London..Today
On number three is Holland. So i think we have reason to be affraid and prepared. However , London was well prepared but an attack like this is impossible to prevent.
I do think that the way London reacted on this is very well. No panicking , but a calmness , almost proudness that London took this so well , and that they dont let this knock them down. Also the help services and stuff are very well organised i think.

fucking dark
i called me ma at work to make sure my step-dad was alright (he works just off the bank tube station where they did the emergency terrorist action last year) and they were like no she's not in today, so im like ok its tom ill give her a bell at home, and they said she wasnt at home she'd gone up to london for the day!! 8O
called her straight away on the mobile and was lucky enough to get through, turns out she'd gone to hampton court which is well west, so she was alright, and my step-dad was fine as well, but i can honestly say that i had complete anxiety panic for a while - still a bit shaky now.
its just horrible :(
