I just bought the french magasine Trax featuring a long interview with Tom & Ed.
For the Horse sample in Horse Power they said that thay are working with people that worked a lot of with New Order, Tom & Ed found an old broken sampler E-Mu Emulator with many many samples of their tracks. They found one disc written "Hooky" on it (everybody know who is it I guess) with this recorded horse sound. They said it seems to be a present of god (lol) and that they must do something with that

So Horsepower samples an unreleased New Order demo?
Awesome!

Who is Caroline and why exactly is she dissolving?
I think its a reference to Caroline Distrbution, which is owned by EMI. Caroline Distribution's job is to get Cd's, Records, and downloads available in stores. Caroline distributes many music lables, including Astralwerks.

I want to know who sings or where the sample from Another World came from, don't think that was the singer they had on snow.
Also is Tom on both K+d+b and dissolve? I'm kinda confused on that one. This album is amazing!

pretty sure Tom does all the singing except for Snow, which is a 'found' vocal apparently

Call me lame, but I like to think Caroline is a made up character, something (or someone) Tom and Ed can look back on
after Further is well out of most of their mindspace as they concentrate on other things and smile about the feeling they get
when they remember this time of their intense lives, something that links them to this album or reminds them of emotions that were
felt during Furthers creation perhaps?
Either that or an in-fact we may never know.

"The track "Another World" contains a sample from "Santa Fe" by Krazy Kat
"The link between tracks 2 and 3 contains a spoken word sample from "Forest J Ackerman presents Music for Robots".
